Slade Edmonds limped under the gun and John Rebollo called from the small blind. Chris Nichols checked his option in the big and it was three-way action to a flop of 9♣7♠4♣.
Rebollo checked and Nichol moved all in for 610,000 after flopping top pair. Edmonds tanked long and hard before making the call and saying, "I'm gonna gamble."
Rebollo folded and the hands were turned up.
Chris Nichol: 9♠6♣
Slade Edmonds: 8♦6♦
The J♥ turn was of no consequence but the 10♠ river was as Edmonds made his straight to dispatch Nichol in 10th place.
Slade Edmonds limped in the cutoff before Shaun White moved all in for 390,000 on the button. Action folded back around to Edmonds, who made the call.
Shaun White: A♦8♦
Slade Edmonds: A♣K♦
Edmonds was well in front and remained so through the 6♣9♦9♣ flop. The 2♦ turn brought White a flush draw, which was completed on the 3♦ river to score the unlikely double up.
With Gerald McKinney automatically all in from the big blind for his last 15,000, Shaun White jammed from the cutoff for 535,000. The button and blinds all folded and the hands were turned up.
Gerald McKinney: Q♦4♠
Shaun White: 9♥9♦
The Q♣8♣10♥ flop gave McKinney the lead with a pair of queens, but it was temporary as the J♦ turn gave White a straight. The 7♦ river changed nothing and McKinney exited in 12th place.
