There are now up to 70 entries registered for Day 1c with some 50 players remaining and plenty of food has been delivered right to the tables for the dinner feast in abundance of the dinner break.
Max Deveson was among the most recent casualties while Benjamin "Guppie" Lingenfelder Jr bought in recently.
Tome Dinh had previously three-bet jammed his short stack and Tim Feng folded. This time, the 25,700 wager was not enough to scare away Feng and they were virtually flipping.
Tome Dinh: K♥Q♣
Tim Feng: A♠9♠
The superior hand preflop remained ahead all the way on the 7♠7♣2♦9♣A♥ runout to score the final blow.
With the turn showing A♥3♦3♣Q♥, Rajeev Poonhath made it 8,500 to go and was called by Jay Kamli in the next seat. Poonhath then also bet the 6♣ river albeit for 5,000 and he called a raise to 12,000.
Kamli tabled the A♣3♥ for a flopped full house and Poonhath mucked an ace.
Three ways to the A♠Q♣4♠ flop, the action checked to Steven Radloff and he bet 3,500. Tusar Somaiya and Harold Brooks called out of the blinds and they checked the 2♦ turn. Brooks led the 8♥ river for 6,500 and that won the pot uncontested.
Kumi Pather squeezed to 3,000 and was called by Hafiz Juma on the button and Abu Msuya in the bit blind. On the Q♦6♣5♠ flop, it was checked to Pather and his bet of 4,000 was called twice. The Q♠ turn was then checked to Juma who bet 4,000 for Msuya to be the only caller.
Msuya led the 8♣ river for 25,000 and Juma let go.
Table five opened during the break and some players were moved to new seat assignments. Among them was also Gavin Sardini who had lost a ton of chips. Sardini explained he had flopped two pair with six-four but Hafiz Juma held a set of sixes.
Level: 5
Blinds: 500/1,000
Ante: 1,000
The field has grown to 67 entries and only 51 of them still have chips at their disposal after the end of level four, which has sent everyone into the second 15-minute break at the half time for Day 1c.
Nathan Pan raised to 1,300 and then called a three-bet to 4,000 by Tim Feng to check-call the Q♠9♦4♦ flop for 7,000. Pan led the 6♠ turn for massive 35,000 and Feng folded to get shown the 8♦6♦ for a pair and flush draw.
"Good card," Pan told Dan Zvonaru.
A ten-handed flip was taking place next to Day 1c and ten players were hoping to secure their entry - or possible re-entry. Muaaz Gani won his next seat with J♣8♠ for a straight and moments later won a healthy pot without showdown.
According to the screens, there are 50 players out of 65 entries remaining and Ak Ak leads the way.
Dan Zvonaru four-bet jammed into Tome Dinh who forfeited his squeeze to 17,000.
