Champion to Be Crowned Today on Day 2 of the $1,200 New England Poker Championship

The final 15 players will gather inside the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milford today at noon local time to battle for the title and inaugural Jordan Fishman Cup on Day 2 of the $1,200 New England Poker Championship.

Last year’s runner-up Steven Tabb is making another run and enters the day as an overwhelming chip leader with 2,130,000. He’s followed by Andrew Camacho (1,315,000) and Kevin Cronin (1,300,000). Rick Ziegler, the reigning Eastern Poker Tour champion, is also still alive with 680,000 as he hunts another trophy.

Only the top 12 players out of the 104-entry field will make the money and secure a min-cash of $2,400, while the champion will take home $30,000. The action picks up on Level 18 with blinds of 10,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante, with levels remaining 40 minutes long. Blind levels will be pushed back at the start of the final table to ensure a 30 big-blind average. The final table will be streamed on the Eastern Poker Tour’s official YouTube channel.
