Inaugural Jordan Fishman Cup Up For Grabs in the $1,200 New England Poker Championship

Jordan Fishman
Jordan Fishman

Jordan Fishman will be on plenty of hearts and minds at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milford, Massachusetts, over the next two days.

Fishman, the retired professor and biochemist, won the $1,650 High Roller at last year’s Eastern Poker Tour stop here. Cheered on by his girlfriend Linda, whom he met while playing the tour, Fishman beat out a field of 86 players to earn $45,000, the largest score of his poker career.

2025 Final Table Results

Sadly, Fishman passed away later in the year at the age of 67. But his memory will live on when the $1,200 New England Poker Championship begins at noon local time when players chase the inaugural Jordan Fishman Cup in his honor.

Players begin the day with a 100,000 starting stack and blinds of 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Levels will be 40 minutes long, with a 10-minute break after every four levels and a 40-minute dinner break at the end of Level 12 around 8:20 p.m. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 13.

Day 1 is scheduled to play down to a final table of eight. The finalists then return tomorrow at noon, with action streamed on the Eastern Poker Tour’s official YouTube channel. Blinds will be rolled back to a 30 big blind average at the final table.

Stay tuned to PokerNews throughout the day for live updates as players try to follow in Fishman's footsteps and secure a spot at the final table.
