Power Gets Paid With a Boat
Level 1
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
After an early-position player limped in, the cutoff raised to 1,400 and only Brandin Power called on the button.
The cutoff checked the A♦9♠7♠ flop and Power bet 2,000. His opponent called, and the 9♦ fell on the turn.
Power then bet another 2,000, and his opponent again called. The river was the A♣ and Power bet 4,000. The cutoff quickly called, and Power showed A♥8♦ for a full house to win the pot.
"I'm the chip leader on the blog now," Power told his tablemates after the hand.
