Metta Catches an Opponent Making a Move to Double
Level 4
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
With the deep structure of this event, all ins had been few and far between so far today, but that just changed as Dean Metta got his entire stack in the middle.
Metta and an opponent went to the turn on a board of 4♦J♣6♣4♠ where the cutoff bet 32,000. Metta then moved all in for 47,000 in middle position, and his opponent called. Metta showed A♦A♣, and his opponent was drawing thin with 2♥2♠. The river was the 10♣ and Metta earned the double up.
