Cronin had woken up with kings, and the 9210A3 board offered no help to McQuillan as he was sent to the rail.

At the same table, reigning Eastern Poker Tour champion Rick Ziegler has built up a stack of around 550,000.

Steven Tabb and Mike LaMontagne went to the turn on a board of A108Q when Tabb bet 100,000 from the button. LaMontagne then raised to 200,000 in the big blind, and Tabb moved all in.

LaMontagne let out a deep sigh as he quickly called for his last 500,000. "King-jack?" he asked Tabb, and Tabb indeed showed KJ.

"How do you have king-jack?" LaMontagne added as he turned over J9 for a smaller straight. The river was the Q and LaMontagne was sent to the rail, while Tabb raked in the massive pot to take over the chip lead.
