Curzio Bets Out Iachan on the River
Level 7
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Nicholas Verderamo bet 2,000 from under the gun on a flop of 9♦9♣Q♠ and Eugene Curzio called in the cutoff. Daniel Iachan then raised to 7,000 in the big blind, and only Curzio called.
The turn was the 5♦ and Iachan bet another 12,000. Curzio again called, and the A♦ fell on the river.
Iachan slowed down and checked, and Curzio bet 17,000. Iachan stopped to take a few sips from his coffee cup before sending his cards back to the dealer, surrendering the pot to Curzio.
