Boker Catches the River Against Zimmerman
Level 13
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Torsten Boker raised to 6,500 in the hijack, Diane Zimmerman three-bet to 17,000 in the cutoff, and Boker called.
The flop came 5♦J♥2♦ and Zimmerman bet 14,000. Boker called, and the Q♦ fell on the turn. Zimmerman then bet 23,500, and Boker called once more.
Both players checked the 9♦ river, and Boker showed A♠J♦ for a rivered flush. Zimmerman flashed two queens for top set as she mucked.
At another table, Nathan Bomey woke up with aces in a blind versus blind battle against Donovan Bates' jacks, but Bates spiked a jack on the flop to win the pot and send Bomey to the rail.
