Kennedy "Getting Smacked by the Deck"
Level 15
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Ting Luo raised to 10,000 in the hijack, Christopher Kennedy three-bet to 25,000 on the button, and Luo called.
Both players checked the Q♥K♠7♦ flop. Luo then bet 15,000 on the A♥ turn, and Kennedy moved all in. Luo, with around 60,000 behind, folded and said he had ace-jack.
Kennedy showed K♦K♣ for a set as he took down the pot. "Just getting smacked by the deck. Boom, boom, boom," Yousef Zeibaq told him.
At another table, Nathan Bomey doubled up for 74,500 when he picked up Q♣Q♠ against Anton Makarevich's J♥J♣ and hit a set on the Q♦A♥9♠6♥2♦. Casey Hatmaker, meanwhile, was eliminated.
