Rantamaki Puts Farrell in the Blender

Joni Rantamaki raised to 130,000 on the button wih Niall Farrell defending from the big blind.

Farrell check-called a bet of 80,000 from Rantamaki on the 4♠7♥4♣ flop.

The turn came the 2♠ and Farrell check-called another bet from Rantamaki, this time for 350,000.

Farrell checked for the last time when the 6♦ dropped on the river. Rantamaki shoved for Farrell's remaining 1,200,000 and Farrell went into the tank. Ultimately, Farrell opted to fold and Rantamaki dragged in the pot.

Conor O'Rourke opened to 125,000 from under the gun and faced Mark Buckley who defended from the big blind.

Both players checked the 6♦7♠7♥ flop leading to the 10♠ turn where O'Rourke bet 230,000. Buckley check-called.

On the 9♣ river, Buckley led out for 450,000. O'Rourke went deep into the tank, and eventually called. But his sent his cards into the muck when Buckley flipped over 8♠5♠ for a straight.

Worthington-Leese Doubles After a Lot of Confussion

Joni Rantamaki raised to 120,000 from the hijack before Leo Worthington-Leese shoved for 860,000 from the cutoff. When the action got to Mark Buckley in the big blind, Rantamaki called, then flipped over 8♥8♣. Worthington-Leese turned over K♠J♠ after both players didn't notice Buckey still had cards.

With this extra information, Buckley shoved and Rantamaki was allowed to take back his action if he chose to fold. He did choose to fold and the cards were flipped over.

Worthington-Leese needed some help to double-up. The board ran out Q♣K♥2♠3♣6♥ to give Worthington-Leese the winner with top pair and he more than doubled up.

Niall Farrell got his last 950,000 into the middle prefop with Joni Rantamaki making the call to try and end his tournament.

Farrell had found a great stop to double-up if he could fade a bad runout from the dealer. The board came 6♥K♦9♠9♣9♦ to give Farrell the winner with a full house, and he stayed alive in the tournament.

Mark Buckley opened to 160,000 from the cutoff and was called by Leo Worthington-Leese in the big blind.

After they both checked the 9♣6♠4♥ flop, Worthington-Leese bet 160,000 on the Q♠ turn, but Buckley raised to 340,000.

Worthington-Leese called, then checked the 2♠ turn. Buckley bet 275,000 and Worthington-Leese folded, revealing the Q♦.

The action checked all the way to the river on the A♣2♥K♥4♣3♣ board before Buckley bet 175,000. Farrell pondered for a while before reluctantly calling.

Buckley showed the winner with A♥9♥ for top pair, as Farrell flashed two queens.
