Hand 37

Eddy Scharf decides to just call the big blind with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Duke calls in the small blind with {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Tony G makes it 20,000 to go with {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} from the big blind. Scharf wastes very little time in announcing "all in" and everyone else folds.

Hand 36: Devilfish Got Crabs

Devilfish pumped it up to 14,000 with {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}, but Tony G moved all in with a massive (this time) {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

G's stack was 48,000, so it's a huge call for the 'Fish -- it would leave him with only 31,000 if he should call and lose.

"Can't remember the last time I won a race," he lamented before making the call.

Flop: {3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Turn: {K-Diamonds}
River: {2-Hearts}

After being outflopped, the cruelest possible turn card doubles up Tony G, putting him back up to 100,000 in chips.

Hand 35: Scharf With a Power Play

Eddy Scharf
Eddy Scharf
Kravchenko lets go of {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} from first position and it's folded to Eddy Scharf, who raises to 12,000 with {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} from the cutoff seat.

It's then folded to Tony G in the big blind who, after some studying, calls with {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Flop: {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Tony G checks. Coren and Jesse May in the commentary box debate about whether or not Scharf will bet and risk being check-raised, or take a free card and they don't think about another option -- a power play, and that's exactly what the German does.

He moves all in and Tony G can't call.

Hand 34

Devilfish completed the small blind with {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} but Annie Duke raised it up from the big blind with {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}, making it 15,000 to go.

Devilfish called to see a flop of {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

Devilfish checked and folded when Duke bet 14,000.

Hand 32

Hellmuth raised to 14,000 from the small blind with {Q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and won the pot.

Hellmuth limped on virtually every small blind yesterday with any two cards, so this is a change of strategy for the Poker Brat.

Hand 31

Everyone passes to Alex Kravchenko in the small blind, who raises to 10,000 with {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Phil Hellmuth in the big blind starts jumping around in his seat, obviously very suspicious now that Kravchenko has been so active, but he lets it go.

"I have to let them rob me a few times."

Hand 29

Alex Kravchenko raised to 12,000 with {7-Hearts}{6-Spades} and takes down the blinds. Under the gun is the new button, apparently.
