Overbet by Baker

Dennis Baker opened from late position to 5,000 and got a single call from Scott Gill in the big blind. The flop came and Gill checked. Baker continued for 6,000 and Gill called.

The hit on the turn and this time both players checked.

The river came the , putting three spades on board. Gill checked a third time and Baker went into the tank. After a full minute, Baker bet 35,000.

Gill thought for a minute and then asked, "Do you have anything at all?"

Baker didn't respond, but just waited out his opponent. After about a minute, Gill pushed his cards away and Baker collected the pot.
