Right Back At It

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Keith Lehr was back action shortly after busting out.

The board read {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades} and one player moved all-in for about 6,000. Lehr called and another player called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Lehr was the first to act. He moved all-in and his remaining opponent quickly folded. Kehr showed a straight with {9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and eliminated his opponent who held {j-}{9-} for two pair.

Fair Fight

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

After a limp in early position, Keith Lehr moved all-in for 15,100. Earlier, Chad Disante put a bounty on Lehr, saying whoever busted him could play him heads up for another entry into the Southern Poker Open.

Lehr got a call from the button and then the small blind said he really wanted to call, but he didn't have a good hand.

George Green was in the big blind and moved all-in as well. He had Lehr and the player on the button covered. The limper folded and it was three-ways to the flop.

Lehr looked at the big blind after the action was completed, "Your hand was better than mine, I have seven-high."

The three players tabled their hands.

Green: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Lehr: {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Button: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Green scooped the pot and eliminated both players with a straight. Lehr was eliminated, but headed to the cage to rebuy for a fresh 20,000 stack.

Henry Takes It Down on the Turn

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

With a flop of {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades} on the board and a pot of around 4,000 in the middle, Gary Burks checked and Jeff Grimes bet 2,400. Clay Henry called on the button and Burks called to complete the action.

The {4-Hearts} was added to the board and Burks checked again. Grimes thought it over for a bit before checking to Hentry. Henry started putting together chips for a bet immediately, ultimately tossing in a bet of 6,500. Burks cut out calling chips while staring at the board, but after a full minute he elected to throw in his cards rather than his chips.

Grimes decided to fold, saying, "I think he has better than a pair of threes."

After some other banter at the table, Henry said, "I figured if you checked, I was probably good."

Double Doubles

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Drew Nickens three-bet all in over an open to 1,000. Nickens put his last 9,800 at risk with {k-}{10-} and the original raiser called with pocket jacks, {j-}{j-}.

Nickens flopped a king and held the lead to double up.

Shortly after, Mina Greco check-raised all-in on an {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop.

There was 17,000 in the middle and she checked to her opponent who bet 10,000. She moved all-in for 16,100 and her opponent thought for about 30 seconds before calling with {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

Greco tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for a full house and would improve to quad aces when the final ace hit the turn.

Break it Up

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

The players are enjoying the first scheduled break of the day. When they return, Level 5 will begin with blinds of 200/400 with a 400 big blind ante.

Foster Gets Active

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Shreveport resident Seth Foster might be best known for his 94th-place finish in the 2018 WSOP Main Event for $66,330. With Hendon Mob results that go back a decade, Foster has collected $286,808 in lifetime tournament winnings, including two cashes at the WSOP in Las Vegas this summer.

Foster was in the small blind and the action folded to the hijack, who limped. The button folded, Foster called, and the big blind checked his option. The flop came {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The blinds checked and the hijack bet 400. Foster called and the big blind folded.

The turn added the {a-Spades} to the board. Foster checked and the hijack bet 1,200. Foster quickly folded.

In the next hand, Foster had the button. On the turn, with the board reading {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and approximately 4,000 chips in the pot, Foster was heads up with position against a single opponent, who checked. Foster bet 1,700 and his opponent quickly folded.

A Special Offer to play Keith Lehr Heads Up For an Entry

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Chad Disante made another announcement after some of the players at Keith Lehr's table asked if there was a bounty on his head.

Disante announced that if you're the first person to knock Lehr out, you get to play Lehr heads up for another entry into the tournament.

During the break they plan on running $50 flips for even more entries to the first-ever Southern Poker Open.

A Double for Lonnie White, Justin Breithaupt Cruising

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

After two hands at Table 2, Lonnie White found a double for his short stack through Justin Breithaupt, who already has three starting stacks.

On the first hand, White opened to 1,000 and got two callers. The board flop was {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Max Odom checked to White.

White bet 1,500, leaving himself with just 2,300 behind. Odom was the lone caller.

Both players checked the turn when the {9-Diamonds} came.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Odom led for 3,200. White folded.

The next hand, White shoved the {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop and Breithaupt called.

White had middle pair with {k-}{9-} against the straight draw of Breithaupt, who held {j-}{10-}.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and the river was the {a-Spades} and White earned a small double. Breithaupt was still sitting with over three starting stacks.
