Thought You Had 30K

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante
PAPC Main Event
PAPC Main Event

A player opened to 500 before Arto Loikkanen three-bet from middle position to 1,650. Hassan Sey four-bet to 5,000 from one seat over and looked shocked when Loikkanen said he was all-in.

"Wow, thought you had 30K," said Sey before he made the call when he saw the jam was for less than 11,000.

Sey turned over {k-Spades}{q-Spades} after the call and was in rough shape against the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} held by Loikkanen.

The {7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} flop gave Sey some hope with a flush draw and Loikkanen a sweat. However, the {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {a-Diamonds} on the river were safe cards for Loikkanen and he found himself a double-up.

Alakorva and Hatipoglu onto Bullet Three

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

We turned our back on one of the action tables and both Veli-Pekka Alakorva and Bahadir Hatipoglu were out of their seats on their second bullets.

Alakorva quickly got back in the mix and moved over a table with Jussi Mattila, one of his Finnish poker friends. A couple of minutes later, Hatipoglu joined Alakorva at the same table.

"YoH_Viral" Goes Pedal to the Metal

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante
Johan Guilbert and Lena Evans
Johan Guilbert and Lena Evans

While many of the tables are playing small ball with the blinds slow, there are a few notable exceptions including Table 8 with Johan "YoH_Viral" Guilbert generating some action.

In a recent hand with almost 2,000 in the pot, Guilbert bet 1,550 on the {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop after Mati Pirn checked over to him. Andres Allsalu called and Pirn folded.

Guilbert fired another bullet, this time for 4,100 after the {k-Clubs} came on the turn and Allsalu quickly called. The {10-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Guilbert emptied the chamber and jammed for over 20,000 or about what his opponent had left in the stack.

It only took Allsalu about 15 seconds before he decided to fold and the dealer awarded the pot to Guilbert whose stack is changing from minute to minute.

Easy Double for Tori

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Holding {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, Mairo Tori was all in for 12,100 on a {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop against the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} of Jari Mahonen. The {10-Hearts} turn and {4-Spades} river provided an easy double for the Estonian. Mahonen, one of the most accomplished players in the field today with over $500,000 in lifetime winnings, could take the hit and is still at 47,000.

Five-Way Action at Table 11

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

The action started off rather innocuous with Kaspars Renga limping in. Jussi Mattila bumped it to 700 and received calls from Kaupo Tenno, Joakim Wickstrom, Jere Kankaanranta, and Renga as well. The {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop brought five checks.

On the {j-Diamonds} turn, Kankaanranta bet 2,000, Mattila called, and Tenno called as well. The {7-Diamonds} river brought three rapid checks. Kankaanranta had nothing with {8-Spades}{6-Spades}, Mattila showed {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}, but Tenno was best with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} to scoop.

Piller Doubles Off Hatipoglu

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante
Bahadir Hatipoglu
Bahadir Hatipoglu

Tiit Piller jammed his stack of 16,500 after the {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades} came on the flop with 13,000 in the middle. Bahadir Hatipoglu, who is one the players to re-enter once today, paused for 20 seconds before he called.

"Kings?" asked Piller as he turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

He seemed surprised that his opponent turned over {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for middle pair and a backdoor flush draw.

Piller began to stand up after the {10-Hearts} came on the turn opening up a straight draw and flush draw for his opponent.

"Yes!" screamed Piller so loud people from other tables looked over after the {2-Diamonds} came on the river. He headed over to Veli-Pekka Alakorva, who is also at his table, for a high five before he sat down.

Hatipoglu began to walk away before Piller called him back saying he still had some chips.
