Filatov Doubles Through Plesuv to Take the Chip Lead

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Anatoly Filatov
Anatoly Filatov

There was a massive pile of chips in the middle, the board read {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, and Anatoly Filatov had {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} face-up in front of him when we got to the table. As the dealer counted down Filatov's stack, we were informed that after five players saw the flop, Plesuv and Filatov got all the chips in on the turn. Plesuv held {6-}{4-} but was trailing Filatov's set of fours and failed to improve on the river, so Filatov took the pot for a huge double-up and is now the chip leader.

Filatov Takes from Linde

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

There were already about 1,600,000 chips in the middle and the board read {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} when we got to the table. Dylan Linde checked from the big blind and partypoker Sponsored Pro Anatoly Filatov bet 800,000 from the button. After some consideration, Linde called.

The {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Linde checked. Filatov bet again, 1,800,000 this time, Linde folded, and Filatov took the pot.

Aldemir Eliminates Meless

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Koray Aldemir raised to 525,000 from the cutoff, Aleksejs Meless three-bet jammed for what looked like 3,050,000 from the small blind, and after some consideration, Aldemir called to put Meless at risk.

Meless: {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Aldemir: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

Meless had the preflop advantage and Aldemir had to improve in order to stack him. The board ran out {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} pairing Aldemir's jack, so he took the pot to send Meless to the cage.

Filatov Eliminates Bicknell to Break the Bubble

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

Kristen Bicknell got the last of her short stack in the middle from early position against Anatoly Filatov who was on the button.

Bicknell: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Filatov: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Filatov had the preflop advantage and Bicknell needed to improve in order to survive. The board ran out {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} to pair Filatov's king, so he took the pot to eliminate Bicknell and break the bubble.
