Aido Takes It Down Preflop, Winter Flops a Royal

Level 3 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Sergio Aido opened to 17,000 from early position and Rainer Kempe three-bet to 50,000 out of the hijack. Jean-Christophe Ferreira was in the cutoff and four-bet to 125,000.

The action folded back to Aido who put out a five-bet to 282,000, forcing Kempe to quickly muck his cards. Ferreira took a little longer but eventually folded as well.

Meanwhile, on the next table over, players had their phones out and taking pictures. Sean Winter flopped a royal flush but could not pick up any post-flop action from Kristen Bicknell.

Bicknell Catches Winter Bluffing

Level 3 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With around 140,000 in the pot, the dealer fanned the flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Sean Winter bet 70,000 from the big blind and Kristen Bicknell called on the button.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {5-Hearts} on the river. Winter led out for 264,000 and Bicknell made a relatively quick call. Winter's hand went into the muck as Bicknell tabled {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for two pair, nines and fives.

"I guess I shouldn't bluff you," Winter said after the hand. "It was such a good flop though."

O'Dwyer Steals One from Farrell

Level 3 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 14,000 from the hijack and Niall Farrell re-raised to 56,000 from the big blind. O'Dwyer called and the flop came {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Farrell led out for 66,000 and O'Dwyer called.

The {7-Clubs} landed on the turn and Farrell continued to fire for 152,000. O'Dwyer wasn't going anywhere as he quickly called and the river brought the {k-Spades}. Farrell checked and O'Dwyer tossed in a bet of 400,000. Farrell briefly thought about his decision but elected to fold.

Sinclair's River Bet Gets Through

Level 2 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Kenny Hallaert opened to 13,000 from the hijack and Jack Sinclair three-bet to 40,000 on the button. Philipp Gruissem called from the small blind and Andrey Pateychuk put his new stack to work with a four-bet to 125,000 from the big blind. Hallaert folded while both Sinclair and Gruissem called.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Gruissem checked to Pateychuk who continued for 100,000. Sinclair called and Gruissem got out of the way. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and both players checked to the {j-Spades} on the river. Pateychuk checked again and Sinclair bet 275,000. Pateychuk didn't waste much time before sending his cards to the muck.

Kirk Doubles Up Winter, Becomes First Casualty

Level 2 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Just a few hands after Matt Kirk took his seat two positions to the left of Sean Winter, the two players played a massive pot. On a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}, the two players got all of their chips in the middle with Winter holding {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Kirk also flopped a set but was left drawing to just one out.

The turn and the river changed nothing and Winter doubled up to over 2.1 million, leaving Kirk with under 200,000. Not long after, Kirk flopped two pair but ran into the set of Carlos Chadha and became the first player eliminated.
