Yifrach's Full House Crushes Sontheimer

Level 7 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Gal Yifrach opened to 35,000 from the button and Steffen Sontheimer called from the small blind along with Mustapha Kanit in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and the action was checked to Yifrach who continued for 75,000. Sontheimer called while Kanit folded.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and both players checked to the {9-Clubs} on the river, which paired the board. Sontheimer led out for a small bet of 75,000 and Yifrach raised to 300,000. Sontheimer thought for a minute before making the call. Yifrach turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} for a full house and Sontheimer nodded his head in approval before mucking his cards.

Schindler On the Road Back

Level 6 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jake Schindler was down to under 300,000 earlier on in the day, but after doubling up through Stephen Chidwick with a set of sevens, Schindler had a stack that he could continue to be aggressive with.

He raised to 30,000 from under the gun and was called by four players. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the action was checked to Schindler who continued for 65,000. Jack Sinclair called from the cutoff and the rest of the table folded.

The turn landed the {k-Clubs} and Schindler went for a larger bet of 205,000. Sinclair mucked his cards and Schindler stacked more chips, now climbing over the initial starting stack of 1,000,000 chips.

Peters Won't Let Go

Level 6 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With around 320,000 already in the middle before the flop, David Peters and Adrian Mateos were heads-up in what was looking to be a huge pot. The flop came {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Peters check-called a bet of 135,000 from Mateos on the button.

The {7-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Peters checked again from the small blind. Mateos bet again for 350,000 and Peters still called. The river was the {j-Diamonds} and both players checked. Peters turned over {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a rivered flush and Mateos unhappily threw his cards to the muck.

Riess Runs Into a Monster

Level 5 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The dealer fanned the flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and the action was checked to Alexandru Papazian who bet 36,000 on the button. Rainer Kempe called from the big blind and Ryan Riess check-raised to 150,000 from the cutoff. Papazian quickly folded and the action was back on Kempe. He thought for a moment before announcing all in and Riess quickly called for his last 350,000.

Rainer Kempe: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Ryan Riess: {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Kempe flopped a full house, leaving Riess drawing to the only seven remaining in the deck. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and the river was the {2-Diamonds}, eliminating Riess for the time being.

Call it Even for Farrell

Level 5 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

On a flop of {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, Seth Davies and Niall Farrell were heads-up and both checked to the {q-Diamonds} on the turn. Davies led out for 75,000 from the big blind and Farrell called in middle position. The river was the {j-Clubs} and Davies fired 275,000. Farrell was forced to fold to the over-bet and Davies picked up the pot.

In the next hand, Farrell opened to 23,000 from early position and was called by Davies in the small blind. Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 115,000 from the big blind and Farrell called while Davies folded.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and O'Dwyer led out for 125,000. Farrell stuck around to see the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. O'Dwyer checked this time and Farrell bet 220,000. O'Dwyer instantly folded and Farrell earned the pot, making up for the previous hand which he lost.

Chadha Pushes Greenwood Off the Pot

Level 5 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The board read {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Sam Greenwood bet 150,000 into a pot of around 160,000 from the hijack. Carlos Chadha called from the button and the {9-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Greenwood bet another 180,000 and Chadha called again. The river brought the {j-Hearts} and Greenwood chose to check this time, after having the clock called on him. Chadha pushed forward a bet of 800,000, more than enough to cover the sub 500,000 chips Greenwood had remaining. Greenwood folded and Chadha was awarded the pot.
