partypoker LIVE German Poker Championship Day 1a

King's Casino - Europe's Biggest Poker Arena
King's Casino - Europe's Biggest Poker Arena

Welcome to the German Poker Championships at King’s Casino on the Czech Republic–Germany border in the charming town of Rozvadov nestled in the ancient Bohemian Forest.

The casino has recently been rapidly expanding with a new poker room added and brand new hotel expected to be opened in the next few days.

Rozvadov is quickly gaining popularity as a destination for poker players and gamblers from all over the word and is earning the nickname ‘RozVegas’ after the gambler’s home Las Vegas.

The German Poker Championships consist of a multi-day poker tournament held both online and live. It has a massive €1,000,000 guaranteed prizepool including at least €200,000 for the winner. Players can enter as many Day 1 tournaments as they like. Your largest stack will be carried through to Day 2.

Plenty of Team partypoker will be joining battle on the felt over the next few days including Boris Becker, Sam Trickett, Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Anatoly Filatov, Kristen Bicknell, Marcel Luske, and Natalia Breviglieri. They will likely be joined by a host of top German Pros and other stellar names from around the world.

Cards are in the air for Day 1a at 12 p.m. here in Europe’s largest poker arena with late registration open until 9:30 p.m.

Play is scheduled to last eight one-hour levels with a dinner break after level six.

There are still plenty of opportunities to play the partypoker GPC with the full schedule available here.

The PokerNews Live reporting team will be on hand over the next five days to bring you all the action from the felt as King’s Casino crowns a new German Poker Champion.
