Welcome to the partypoker LIVE Grand Prix Austria at the Montesino Casino in Vienna.
The Grand Prix Austria is being held from September 24th – October 9th online and in casinos across Austria, with the final being held at Montesino Casino on Monday, October 9th. Players could buy in for just €115 or qualify from as little as $1.10!
The second flight of three Day 1s kicks off today at 7 p.m., with many more opening flights scheduled over the course of the weekend. Surviving players will play in the two Live Day 2 events that are held on Sunday, October 8th —one at Montesino Casino, one at CCC Simmering— following on from an Online Day 2 on October 1. The final will take place on Monday, October 9th, at Montesino Casino.
Players begin the Main Event with 50,000 in chips. Day 1b will play for 18 levels with each level lasting for 20 minutes. Late registration closes after Level 8.

We've reached capacity in the second of today's three Day 1's! We've spread 250 players across the 25 available tables, with a long list of alternates, who will have until level 8 to decide if they want to wait it out, or if they'd rather register for the later flight or even tomorrow.
Meanwhile, there are several large trays of complimentary donuts, coming in all sorts of shapes, sizes, colours, and flavours, being offered out to all players and alternates in the tournament and bar areas!
