Koper Cant Cope with Summers

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Former Dusk Till Dawn200 champion Alan Summers returned from his trip to Asia to play Day 2 of the partypokerLIVE Grand Prix and he sat down just in time to open under the gun on table 41 to 18k. Szymon Koper saw this as a great spot to shove his last 20 bigs from the small blind. Florian Duta instantly folded the big blind but Summers flicked in the call.

Koper couldn't wait to table his {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. Summers was in rough shape with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, but only until he flopped the nut flush on a {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Groans of sympathy resonated around the table, while Koper remained surprisingly calm. The turn paired the {5-Clubs}, giving Koper three outs going to the river, but the {4-Diamonds} didn't help and the pot was shipped in Summers' direction.
