The screens show 213 out of 217 players remaining and among those to bust early on was Artur Mutalapov. He got his stack of 290,000 in preflop after a raising war with Anatoly Korochenskiy and both players showed the best and second-best pocket pair in No Limit Hold'em.
"It was more before but Pierre is crushing it," Gerald Karlic said. The Austrian had qualified through a phase satellite and came with around 1.2 million, but has since lost a bit of that to Pierre Neuville.
Oleg Titov bagged up chips yesterday, but he also had a second stack coming into today to try and run up more chips. After a raise to 8,500, he three-bet to 25,000. Maxim Lykov four-bet to 95,000 and, once the initial raiser folded, Titov squeezed to 225,000 with 460,000 behind. Lykov gave it some thought and folded.
Another familiar face that joined very recently is partypoker Sponsored Pro Richard Dubini, who sat down in the very corner table with Jeff Hakim.
James Lowrey is up for the day despite losing a small pot just now under the eyes of fellow Brit David Coates on the same table.
Lowrey bet the flop for 8,500 and his table neighbor called before doing so again on the turn for 15,500. The on the river was checked and Lowrey showed the only to see his opponent from Russia rake in the pot with .
Andrey Pateychuk sat down on the same table as Oleg Titov and Maxim Lykov, while Aleksandar Tomovic just entered over on table 21. Another familiar face in the High Roller tournaments is partypoker Sponsored Pro Roberto Romanello, who just sat down with a fresh stack of one million.
Alexandru Papazian, winner of Romania's first WSOP gold bracelet this summer, has taken his seat in the Main Event. A couple of tables over he has been joined by partypoker Sponsored Pro Roberto Romanello, who tweeted yesterday that he was looking forward to playing in the Main Event today.

Stay tuned to see how the pair get on here on Day 1B.
There is one player currently seated in the Main Event who has been active enough for at least a dozen others, and his name is Pierre Neuville.
Heads-up in a monster pot (at this stage anyway) he bet 225,000 into a pot of nearly 600,000 on a board. His opponent had around 500,000 behind and thought about his decision, before cutting the requisite chips out, before thinking a while longer.
Eventually, his opponent mucked. "Queens?" asked Neuville, who mucked without showing his hand.
He's steadily chipping up today and if he stays this active, he might end up with a whole lot more come the end of play today.
A big three-way pot emerged on the table of Pierre Neuville and Nicolas Le Floch and both were part of it. On the flop of , the action checked to Neuville in under the gun and he bet 26,000. The small blind check-raised to 80,000 and Le Floch in the big blind called, as did Neuville.
After the turn, it was Le Floch that bet for 125,000 and both opponents called before the Frenchman bet the river for 350,000, which represented almost half of his stack. After two folds followed, Le Floch flashed and the small blind immediately complained in Russian.
One of partypoker's Sponsored Pros is Jan-Peter Jachtmann, who unfortunately bust out of Day 1A yesterday, but he's back in the field today and raring to go.
"There are lots of players," said Jachtmann, as he waited for his new table to fill up, "I'm looking forward to it. I know that there is one re-entry per day so I will go for it!"
Jachtmann has been enjoying the Sochi Casino & Resort, and says that it has only whetted his appetite for finding out more about the country.
"Sochi is for rich people(!). It's one of only three areas in Russia where you can have casinos and gamble.
"I think Sochi is like a bubble; It's certainly not typical Russia, but that makes me want to discover and explore other parts of Russia."
A new table was opened and Andrey Zaichenko as well as Jan-Peter Jachtmann sat down with four players active, while other players were moved to the table while the hand was going on. "I defend my ante," Jachtmann announced and raised to 11,500 on the button. Jeff Hakim in the big blind three-bet to 43,000 and Jachtmann called with the words "It is a re-entry" and a smile on the face.
After the flop, Hakim continued for 30,000 and Jachtmann called before then facing a bet worth 80,000 on the river. The partypoker Sponsored Pro let go and Hakim chipped up just before the end of level two.
The tournament clock shows that 237 of 243 players are remaining in Day 1B of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Russia Main Event. They are going on their first break of the day and will return in 15 minutes.
