Nitsche Gets Off Cheap: Salter Gets Respect For His Panini

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

With 22,000 chips in the pot Thomas Muehloecker checked his option on a board of {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, and Dominik Nitsche put out a bet of 17,000. Muehloecker called.
The river {9-Hearts} prompted another check from Muehloecker, and this time Nitsche checked it back. Muehloecker turned over {A-}{Q-Clubs} for the turned broadway straight, and Nitsche quickly mucked his hand looking somewhat relieved it didn't cost him anymore.

On the nearby table #34 Ben Heath raised it up to 5,000 from the cutoff, Danut Chisu called in position before Jack Salter made it 18,200 to go out of the small blind. Both Heath and Chisu quickly folded, and Ludovic Geilich noted that Salter only got that kind of respect because of his still untouched panini that a waiter brought over only moments before. Salter just smiled, flashed the {J-Diamonds} and racked in the pot.
