Chidwick Jams into Yosifov

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 1,500 ante

Martin Kabrhel is no longer on the table full of big names and Christian Nilles as well as Stefan Schillhabel also lost most of their chips, while Igor Kurganov more than doubled.

And then there was Stephen Chidwick, who just took a big pot off Dimitar Yosifov to build his stack. Yosifov limped in and Chidwick raised to 105,000 in the bib blind, which Yosifov called. On the {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, both checked and the {5-Hearts} fell on the turn. Yosifov led for 150,000 and was called before firing another 225,000 on the {A-Diamonds} river.

Chidwick moved all in and Yosifov folded with around 600,000 behind.

No Love for Lodden

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 1,500 ante
Johnny Lodden
Johnny Lodden

Oscar Serradell raised it up to 60,000 preflop and called when Norway's Johnny Lodden shipped it in for 440,000 total. Serradell held the {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} which statistically speaking was barely edging out the {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} of Johnny Lodden.

The {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop made Serradell an even bigger favorite, and by the {9-Diamonds} turn he had so many outs, that it was still virtually a coinflip with just one card to come.

The {A-Spades} river completed the flush for Serradell, and Lodden made his way out of the Marquee, that still hosts a number of the 220 remaining players.

Carter Thriving

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 1,500 ante

Paraskevas Tsokaridis opened to 80,000 and Daniel Carter called from two seats over on the button. On the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop, Tsokaridis continued for 120,000 and Carter called before the {A-Clubs} turn was checked to the Brit. Carter now made it 320,000 to go and received the call before the {2-Spades} river saw another check and a hefty bet worth 700,000 by Carter.

Tsokaridis eventually called and then tapped the table in defeat when Carter flashed {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a set as winning hand.

Jack Hardcastle on the same table is also thriving and Dylan Honeyman arrived at his new table and was straight in the big blind. Mustapha Kanit raised to 85,000 and was called two ways. Honeyman then three-bet to 340,000 and that shut down all further action.

Sanchez Diaz Busts Tinnion

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 1,500 ante

A raising war resulted in a big clash between Robert Tinnion and Carlos Sanchez Diaz with the former all in and at risk for more than 2.5m and with the worse hand.

Tinnion had {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Sanchez Diaz turned over {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} to see the board run out {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. The Spaniard is among the big stacks and trails Paul Carr by just a few big blinds.

What's Up, Doc? Prodhan Finds the Six

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 1,500 ante

Nicholas Fellone limped from the hijack, and Masud "Doc" Prodhan raised it up from the cutoff. The blinds quickly got out of the way, and back on Fellone, he put Prodhan to the ultimate test. Prodhan made the call for 901,000 total.

Nicholas Fellone: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Masud Prodhan: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The cheeky limp-jam from Fellone had gotten him his money in very well against Prodhan, but the flop changed the good outlook, as it came {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. The turn {2-Clubs} and the river {3-Hearts} did not improve Fellone, who cut out the chips of his potent stack and handed them over to his opponent.

Kurganov vs Kamel

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 1,500 ante

Several big names including Steve O'Dwyer saw their stack sizes fluctuate quite a lot and and they are below or just above the average with less than 200 players remaining.

Igor Kurganov was spotted raising to 100,000 and Tamer Kamel called on the button. On the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop the duo checked and Kurganov's bet on the {2-Clubs} turn for 240,000 won the pot uncontested.

Fellone Falls to Jahn

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 1,500 ante

Nicholas Fellone limped in, Sohnke Jahn raised to 110,000 in the hijack and Fellone then limp-raised to 450,000. Jahn moved all in and Fellone called it off for around 1.3m to put himself at risk.

When the cards were turned over, Fellone walked away from the table and cursed himself for the way he got the chips in, then said "All that grind and then I get it in with nines. ... I had to anyways as I need to have a stack for tomorrow,"

Nicholas Fellone: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Sohnke Jahn: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board came {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Fellone was eliminated, he walked away from the table and Jahn simply said "thank you."
