Swift and Tuxworth Rising

Level 43 : 200,000/400,000, 40,000 ante

On the four-way turn showing {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Thomas Boivin bet 2,650,000 and Vicente Delgado folded, Andrew Tuxworth called and so did Robert Schulz. The trio then checked the {4-Hearts} river and Boivin showed {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a missed straight draw. Tuxworth had {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a flush and Schulz mucked.

One table over, Katie Swift won a big pot off Igor Kurganov when calling a 10m river bet on an ace-high board with three hearts and two tens. Swift tabled {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} aces and kings as winning hand and raked in a big pot.

Soon after, Noah Vaillancourt defended his big blind against Swift and then got his last 2,825,000 in after the {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. Swift looked him up with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} only to see Vaillancourt's big blind special with {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a full house. The {3-Hearts} turn and {K-Diamonds} river bricked and the Canadian doubled.

Cody Gets It Wrong

Level 43 : 200,000/400,000, 40,000 ante

With a million chips already in the pot, Fabio Sperling bet 650,000 on a {Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and Jake Cody made the call. The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and another bet from Sperling; this time 950,000. Cody called again.

Sperling moved in for his remaining 3,465,000 on the {3-Diamonds} river, and eventually, Cody threw a couple of his yellow 1million chips over the line. Sperling revealed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for top two pair and though Cody tried to muck his cards, the dealer turned them over as per the tournament rules. Cody had also flopped top pair with {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}, but they were no good, and the Brit slipped below 20 million chips.

Updated Counts

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante

On the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} turn, Neel Murthy checked out of the big blind and faced a bet worth 1,100,000 by an opponent in middle position. Murthy check-raised to 3,000,000 and that got the job done.

Vicente Delgado bet a three-way turn of {J-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for 1,500,000 out of the big blind and Devid Leja in the hijack as well as Thomas Dunwoodie on the button both folded.

Lauck Pushes Around Castelluccio

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante

Sergio Castelluccio raised to 700,000 and Jonas Lauck three-bet to 1,900,000 from the button, picking up a call by the Italian. On the {K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Castelluccio check-called a bet worth 1,100,000 and did so again for 1,900,000 on the {K-Diamonds} turn.

The {9-Diamonds} river completed the board and Castelluccio checked the third street in a row. Lauck bet 10,000,000, enough to cover his opponent, and the Italian folded after plenty of consideration.

Down to 80 Players

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante

There are just 80 players remaining and the next pay jump is at 72 players remaining, guaranteeing all hopefuls at least £17,500. Until now, the payout has been £15,000, which the below participants all received.

Sexton's Ship Sinks: Business is Booming for Briotti

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
Mike Sexton
Mike Sexton

Fabio Sperling raised to 650,000 before Tommaso Briotti reraised to 1,550,000 from the small blind. Mike Sexton in the big blind put his stack of just below 5 million at risk, Sperling folded, Briotti quickly called and the hands were turned over.

Mike Sexton: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Tommaso Briotti: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Disaster struck already on the flop for the Partypoker Ambassador as it came {8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and with no help on the {2-Clubs} turn or the {4-Spades} river, Sexton hit the rail.

Yan Looking Golden

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
[Removed:17] looking 'golden', but Lauck has lost the last longer chance.
[Removed:17] looking 'golden', but Lauck has lost the last longer chance.

[Removed:17] has eliminated another player from the MILLIONS Main Event after his opponent moved all-in for 6,435,000 on a flop of {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and after a moment's consideration, Yan called it off with {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Yan was winning with pocket sixes against {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and the board paired to give Yan the full house with the {4-Hearts} landing on the turn.

The {2-Diamonds} river added insult to injury for his opponent but New Zealand's [Removed:17] has moved second in chips in the room with an incredible 45 million. He won't care a bit how.

Cody Doubles and Busts Hoang

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
Jake Cody
Jake Cody

Shortly after coming back from dinner, Jake Cody doubled for 21 big blinds with pocket threes against the ace-jack suited of Gerald Karlic. Just now, Karlic raised to 650,000 from the cutoff and Tai Hoang moved in from the button for 4,430,000. Cody reraised all in from the small blind and Karlic folded.

Tai Hoang: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Jake Cody: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The board came {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Hoang took his belongings. Cody has motored up to the top half of the chipcounts, but still sits just over the 15.7m chip average in the room.

There are still 80 players left in the tournament and three more 75-minute levels to play, so anything can happen until the close of play around 1am local time.
