Chidwick Doubles in Massive Setup

In the very last hand before the dinner break, Thomas Dunwoodie made it four million to go from first position. Jacob Mulhern called from the cutoff before Stephen Chidwick moved all-in for 40,350,000 total. The button and blinds got out of the way, and Dunwoodie instantly moved in over the top, opening the door for a double knockout by Mulhern. Mulhern opted to fold, and Dunwoodie confidently turned over {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Chidwick, however, revealed the mother of all poker hands, and the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} were a big favorite to take the massive pot.

Every player stayed behind to see the board run out {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, and Chidwick was left with quite a bit of stacking to do before he could get something to eat. He didn't look bothered all, though.

Mulhern Busts Delgado, Holds Massive Chip Lead

Level 49 : 800,000/1,600,000, 150,000 ante
Vicente Delgado crashes out to massive chip leader Jacob Mulhern
Vicente Delgado crashes out to massive chip leader Jacob Mulhern

Vicente Delgado moved all-in pre-flop from late position for around 22 million chips and Jacob Mulhern called after opening the action.

Vicente Delgado: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Jacob Mulhern: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The board of {7-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} gave Delgado a massive sweat from the flop, but ultimately disappointed him and left him out of the reckoning for that million-dollar top prize. At present, Jacob Mulhern is in pole position for both the tournament win and of course that magical £100,000 Golden Chip last longer.

Some Hands from the Feature Table

Level 49 : 800,000/1,600,000, 150,000 ante

Mark Gardner raised to 3.3M from under the gun and Moritz Dietrich moved all in, which got through.

Then, Gardner raised to 3.2M and Christoffer Stahle defended the big blind. On the {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, Stahle checked and Gardner checked behind. The {5-Hearts} turn saw a check-call for 2.5M by Stahle and the duo checked again the {3-Diamonds} river. Stahle showed {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and won the pot.

Dietrich's raise to 3.6M on the button was met with an all in by Jeremy Pantin in the big blind and Dietrich folded. Dietrich also folded after raising to 3.6M on the button and Stahle three-bet to 10M before Stahle himself raised to 3.3M and Jake Cody three-bet to 10.8M out of the small blind.

Tuxworth Falls to Jacks

Level 49 : 800,000/1,600,000, 150,000 ante

The action folded around to Antti Halme in the cutoff, and the Finn made it 3,500,000 to go. Andrew Tuxworth on the button wasted no time in moving all in, and after the numbers had been confirmed by the dealer, Halme made the call.

Andrew Tuxworth tabled {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, but they were trailing the {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} of Halme.

"Oh well, it's been a good run," Tuxworth concluded even before the community cards were dealt as if he sensed it was over.

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, and Tuxworth exited in 21st. He gets £25,000 for his efforts.

Big Double for Pantin

Level 49 : 800,000/1,600,000, 150,000 ante

Moritz Dietrich raised to 3.6M in the cutoff and Jeremy Pantin three-bet to 9.1M in the small blind. "How much stack do you have?" Dietrich asked and then moved all in after Pantin replied "around 40M. A quick call followed and the cards were turned over.

Jeremy Pantin: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Moritz Dietrich: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} was not much of a game changer yet, but Dietrich picked up a flush draw with the {8-Hearts} turn. A blank {8-Diamonds} river let Pantin double for 45.375M to send Dietrich from hero to short stack in a short period of time.
