Simao Takes the Lead

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Joao Simao raised to 600,000 and picked up calls from Renato Nowak and Patrik Antonius in the blinds. On the {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, the action checked to Simao and the partypoker ambassador continued for 725,000. Only Nowak called and check-folded the {Q-Clubs} turn to a second barrel worth 1.075 million.

Stefan Schillhabel

Patrik Antonius made it 750,000 to go on the button and Joao Simao called in the small blind. Stefan Schillhabel in the big blind moved all in for 2.45 million and Antonius folded, Simao quickly called.

Stefan Schillhabel: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Joao Simao: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The German rail behind Schillhabel started to move slightly closer to the table in order to see the showdown and sighed when the flop came {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Schillhabel needed an eight or seven to remain in contention, but the blank {6-Spades} turn and {3-Clubs} river sent him to the rail in 4th place for €125,000.

Steve O'Dwyer raised it up to 600,000 and Stefan Schillhabel on the button three-bet to 1.7 million. O'Dwyer gave his opponent a stare down for half a minute and moved all in for 6.125 million only for Schillhabel to beat him into the pot with a snap call.

Stefan Schillhabel: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

O'Dwyer was the player at risk and found some additional outs on the {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} flop. However, it wasn't meant to be with the {6-Clubs} turn and {9-Spades} river to send the Irishman to the rail in 5th place for €100,000.

Dietrich Fast Eliminated in 6th Place (€75,000)

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Dietrich Fast
Dietrich Fast

After having posted the full button ante worth 250,000, Dietrich Fast moved all in for what appeared to be 3.4 million and Renato Nowak in the big blind asked for a brief count before making the call.

Dietrich Fast: {K-Spades}{2-Spades}
Renato Nowak: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The board of {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades} provided no help for Fast and he had already gathered his belongings before the turn and river fell. For his 6th place finish, Fast picks up a payday of €75,000 while all five remaining players have now locked up €100,000.
