Late position called and the flop came down {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Piquette bet 70,000 after being checked to and his opponent called.

The Final Day of Starting Flights in the $5,300 Main Event Begins at Noon

Montreal
Montreal

It is expected to be the busiest starting flight of the five, and Day 1D is slated to get underway at 12:00 PM local time at the Playground Poker Club. After a strong showing in the opening three Day 1s, the partypoker MILLIONS North America $5,300 Main Event is well on its way to reaching the attractive $10,000,000 guarantee.

It will be a busy day at the felt with two starting flights scheduled for the day. As mentioned, Day 1D will begin at noon, followed by Day 1E at 8:00 PM EST. The first three starting flights saw a total of 751 entries with just 313 of them finding a bag for Day 2. The secret number tournament staff will be looking to reach is 2,000 entries, and today will surely play a major role in reaching that.

Each player will begin the day with 1,000,000 starting chips and the blinds will start off at 5,000/10,000 with a 5,000 button ante. The blind levels will be 60-minutes in length for Day 1D and will be reduced to 40-minute levels for those playing on Day 1E. Each flight will play the allotted eight levels before bagging up to return on Day 2.

Late registration will remain open throughout the entire day and into Day 2. It won't be officially closed until after level 12 on each of the Day 2s. Each player will be permitted one re-entry in each of the Day 1s and Day 2s, and will also be allowed to bag multiple stacks heading into Day 2. Should a player bag multiple stacks heading into Day 3, they will play their larger one and forfeit the smaller one.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be bringing you all of the live updates from the tournament floor for Day 1D.
