Denisov Busts Dementiev

Level 16 : 35,000/70,000, 70,000 ante

The hot run of Aleksandr Denisov continued right away as the vacated one seat was filled by Nikolay Dementiev only for Denisov to bust the second player in that very same seat in a row.

Dementiev had raised from under the gun and Denisov called. On the {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} turn, Dementiev faced a bet of 300,000 by Denisov and raised it up to 2.0 million with a stack of around 3.1 million. Denisov moved all in and Dementiev called it off.

Nikolay Dementiev: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Aleksandr Denisov: {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The {7-Spades} on the river was a blank and Denisov was busy with stacking chips once more.

Shortly after, Oleksii Kravchuk raised and called the shove of fellow countryman Oleg Vasylchenko for 455,000.

Vasylchenko was ahead with the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} as Kravchuk only had {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}, but the {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop favored Kravchuk. The {5-Diamonds} turn was a blank and the {A-Diamonds} river gave Vasylchenko the better pair.

Dmitry Yurasov loses a big chunk

Table 49 just provided two massive pots within ten minutes to see former big stack Dmitry Yurasov cut down and Josef Snejberg eliminated, while Andrey Kotelnikov and Aleksandr Denisov shot to the top of the leaderboard.

First, it was a raising war between Kotelnikov and Yurasov that saw the former all in and at risk for 5.25 million.

Andrey Kotelnikov: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Dmitry Yurasov: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The board came {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and the aces held up.

Then, the completed board showed {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Snejberg moved all in from the small blind for 3.245 million and Denisov gave it some thought before calling. Snejberg rolled over the {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for the nut flush blocker and Denisov scooped the massive pot with {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for the second nut flush.

Shaburov Sends Gulyy to the Rail

Level 16 : 35,000/70,000, 70,000 ante

Andrey Gulyy had busted some time ago and his father Yury was just ousted in a big pot in the Triton Poker room as well.

Gulyy had raised it up and faced a three-bet to 330,000 by Aleksey Shaburov from two seats over. Gulyy four-bet to 1.15 million with a stack of 3.8 million and Shaburov moved all in. Gulyy gave it brief consideration and called to find himself with the dominated pocket pair.

Yury Gulyy: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Aleksey Shaburov: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

The board came {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Gulyy's tournament came to an end.

Vorobieva Pays Off Chaban

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Teodor Evrastiev doubled through Mikhail Ketlerov when he flopped top set with pocket kings and his opponent only had ace-king.

Ekaterina Vorobieva suffered a big setback after also walking into a set. Vladimir Troyanovskiy had raised to 130,000 and Sergey Chaban called. Vorobieva three-bet to 400,000 and Chaban was the only caller. On the {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, both players checked. Chaban bet the {10-Hearts} turn for 500,000 and Vorobieva called.

The {Q-Spades} fell on the river and Chaban bet 1.0 million, Vorobieva snap-called and mucked when she was shown pocket eights.
