Aldemir Eliminated by Gruissem

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Philipp Gruissem raised to 5,500 and Koray Aldemir three-bet all in from the small blind for 49,000, Gruissem called.

Koray Aldemir: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Philipp Gruissem: {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}

On the {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, Gruissem picked a gutshot. The {4-Hearts} turn was a blank, but Gruissem indeed got there on the {K-Spades} river. "The gamble paid off," Gruissem said while raking in the pot.

Rush Hour for Troyanovskiy Sends Sinclair to the Rail

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Sinclair
Sinclair

Vladimir Troyanovskiy chipped up after besting Aleksandr Gofman with {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} versus {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} on a board of {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{A-Hearts} and scooped a pot against Philipp Gruissem without showdown, holding {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

Then, Troyanovskiy raised to 5,400 with the {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} in the hijack and Gruissem three-bet to 16,000 with {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts} on the button. Jack Sinclair in the big blind four-bet to 36,000 with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Troyanovskiy used a time bank before moving all in for 97,100. Gruissem folded instantly and Sinclair called to find himself dominated in the showdown.

The board came {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and both players hit a set to see Sinclair bow out in spectacular fashion.

Phua Flushes Yong

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Richard Yong
Richard Yong

There are only 17 players remaining after the departure of Richard Yong on the outer table. The chips had gone in preflop by Yong on the button and Phua in the big blind had him comfortably covered.

Richard Yong: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Paul Phua: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop gave Phua a flush draw and he immediately filled up thanks to the {J-Hearts} turn to leave his fellow Triton Poker founder empty-handed.

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Oleksii Khoroshenin limped with the {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} in the cutoff and Patrik Antonius did so on the button with the {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Ivan Leow raised to 14,000 in the big blind with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Khoroshenin shoved for 20 big blinds, Antonius folded and Leow snap-called.

More and More for Hata

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Aymon Hata raised to 5,000 and called a three-bet to 15,000 by Wai Leong Chan over on the outer table. On the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} flop, Hata check-called a continuation bet worth 14,000 and the {7-Spades} turn and {9-Spades} river brought no further betting action. Hata rolled over the {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and that won yet another pot for the new commanding chip leader.

Khoroshenin Triples; Troyanovskiy Doubles

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Ivan Leow had raised first to act with the {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Bartlomiej Machon three-bet in the cutoff with the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Oleksii Khoroshenin called all in for 10,800 on the button with {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Leow called.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Leow bet 15,000, Machon called. Leow checked the {3-Spades} on the turn and Machon made it 18,000 to go, which prompted a check-raise to 50,000 by Leow. Machon folded and Khoroshenin tripled up after a blank {4-Hearts} on the river.

On the other feature table, Vladimir Troyanovskiy was all in for 26,600 with {J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} against the {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} of Wai Kin Yong. The board came {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Troyanovskiy spiked a lucky river.

Hata's Hot Run Sends Satubayev Packing

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With 35,000 in the middle and the completed board showing {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Shyngis Satubayev bet 19,000 in the big blind and Aymon Hata pushed all in from under the gun. Satubayev used three time banks and eventually folded.

A few minutes later, Satubayev got his remaining 80,000 in preflop in a classic coin flip and again it was Hata that he had to face.

Shyngis Satubayev: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Aymon Hata: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The {K-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop favoured Satubayev, but he was left drawing dead on the {Q-Spades} turn to render the {3-Diamonds} river to a formality.
