Willis Hits Trips Against Chung

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

The flop was down {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and both Daniel Clark, in the small blind, and Jonty Willis, in the big blind, checked to Tim Chung who bet 15,000 from early position. Clark called before Willis raised to 65,000. Chung opted to call, and Clark folded.

The turn brought the {10-Spades}, and Willis' 100,000 bet was called. After the river card was revealed to be the {8-Clubs}, Willis bet 125,000 and Chung called after 30 seconds of thought. Willis flipped over {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for trips and took down the pot after Chung mucked.

Hewitt's Shove Gets Through

Level 5 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Sylvia Hewitt recently joined in on the action and has already put her whole stack into the middle. The board was down {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}, and Hewitt had bet from the button after her opponent had checked. But after her bet was raised to 250,000, she opted to move all in for around 700,000. Her opponent thought for a minute but ultimately folded, and Hewitt swept in the pot.

Hills Folds to Pre-Flop Five Bet

Level 5 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Andy Hills was in the cutoff and up against Jiaze Li in the small blind. Hills had seen his initial raise three-bet to 115,000, and he had responded with a four-bet to 260,000. Li had Hills covered and went into thinking mode after studying his opponent's stack size. Li then made his move and five-bet to 670,000. Hills had around 1.5m behind him, and after he counted his stack, he thought for another 30 seconds before he waved the white flag and folded as Li picked up the big pot preflop.
