The board read {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} when Day 3 chip-leader Daniel Morgan moved all in on Ryan Mandara.

There was around 650,000 in the pot and Mandara had close to 1,400,000 behind him. Morgan, who started the day with 5,300,000, put maximum pressure on Mandara's hand and after some thought he folded, which allowed Morgan to further increase his lead.

Ward Eliminated by Brice

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thomas Ward open-shoved for 330,000 from middle position. Chris Brice was in the small blind and re-shoved with the big blind folding.

"Show me the jacks," said Ward as he tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Brice shrugged and showed {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades} giving Brice a gutshot to crack Ward's queens. In the end he didn't need it with the {a-Hearts} on the turning handing him the elimination. The {k-Spades} on the river sealed Ward's exit and he joined the slew of players making an early exit here on Day 3.
