Tournament Room
Tournament Room

The 2019 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe attracted 504 entries for the €10,300 Main Event. There were 402 entries made in the King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, but 102 entries didn't even set a foot in the casino before playing. Chip leader Aleks Dimitrov is one of those players. He managed to secure his spot in the money by surviving the Online Day 1+2 end ended with over 27 million chips.

Sam Grafton ended the day very close to that 27 million mark when he played the live version of Day 2. Grafton played the second half of the day on the PokerGO feature table and had a dominating performance at the tables. Kenny Hallaert was one of the other players that used the hand-for-hand phase to chip up. Hallaert ended the day near the top of the chip counts in fifth place with 18,050,000.

Other notable players that made it through to the money and Day 3 include Jozsef Liszkovics (22,075,000), Thomas Boivin (15,825,000), Charlie Carrel (14,375,000). Vojtech Ruzicka (14,325,000), Daniel Rezaei (13,680,000), Yake Wu (10,150,000), James Romero (5,625,000), Jack Sinclair (4,825,000), and Day 1b chip leader Freddy Deeb (4,550,000).

Bertrand Grospellier was the only partypoker Pro that made it to Day 3 by playing the live tournament in Rozvadov, but he will be joined on Day 3 by Dzmitry Urbanovich and Roberto Romanello. Both of them made it to Day 3 without having to be even close to the casino.

The PokerNews blog will be on a one-hour delay so there will be no spoilers regarding the PokerGO live stream. The tournament will kick off at noon local time and the first blog posts will be dripping in at 1 p.m. local time.

Wu Wastes No Time

Level 18 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Yake Wu
Yake Wu

Yake Wu is off to quite a start in the first hour of Day 3.

Wu added a big chunk of chips to his stack in a hand against Markus Grewe. With the board showing {7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}, Wu went all in for his remaining 6,700,000 from the hijack, and Grewe called from the big blind. Wu showed {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a full boat, besting Grewe's trip sevens with {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

A couple of hands later, Wu called an all in from a short-stacked opponent preflop, winning the pot as his {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} got the better of his opponent's {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} on a {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{k-Spades} runout.

Wu, who already has a second-place finish in the Trtion Short Deck event earlier at the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe, is off to a great start on Day 3 of the Main Event.

Two Hands With Carrel

Level 19 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Charlie Carrel
Charlie Carrel

Hand #1: John Farrell raised from middle position to 600,000 and Charlie Carrel called from the hijack. The others folded and Carrel told his opponent that it was battle number four between them.

The flop was dealt {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and they played the hand out really fast from this point forward. Farrell bet 800,000, Carrel quickly called. The dealer dealt the {2-Diamonds} turn, Farrell bet 1,000,000 and Carrel folded.

Farrell showed {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Carrel said ''that is a very nice hand sir''.

Hand #2: Carrel raised to 600,000 from middle position and Jessica Teusl put her last 1,700,000 in the middle from the cutoff. Carrel called after the others folded.

Jessica Teusl: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Charlie Carrel: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and they chopped it up.

Aleks Dimitrov is also seated at the same table. The start of day chip leader lost a little bit of his stack but is still at 90 big blinds.

Romanello Doubles Through Grewe, Grewe Busts Moments Later

Level 19 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Markus Grewe
Markus Grewe

Markus Grewe was involved in a preflop all-in situation with partypoker Pro Roberto Romanello. Romanello had the better hand with {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} against {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

The {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} runout awarded the pot to Romanello and Grewe doesn't seem to end the brutal start he had in the tournament.

The German busted out moments later when he three-bet shoved with ace-queen suited. It was Romanello again who put him to the test with pocket tens and Romanello his tens held up as the best hand.

Grewe finished in 44th for €25,000 after starting with about 20,000,000 in chips.

Grafton Wins 30 Million Pot, Eliminates Wassner

Level 20 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

The flop was {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} with about 1,800,000 in the pot and Martin Wassner bet 1,200,000 from the big blind. Sam Grafton sat in the under-the-gun position and raised to 5,000,000. Wassner took his time to eventually announce ''all in'' and Grafton peeked quickly at his cards before calling.

Martin Wassner: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Sam Grafton: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The board ran out with the {j-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river and Grafton won a big pot by eliminating Wassner.

Zoufri Eliminated; PokerGO Stream is Live

Romain Lewis raised from middle position with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} 800,000 and Abdelhakim Zoufri, who tangled with Lewis earlier, found {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} in the hijack. He put his last 3,950,000 in the middle and Lewis called after it folded back to him.

Lewis quickly called and Zoufri was in great shape to double back up.

The {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop was safe for Zoufri and so was the {5-Spades} turn. The {8-Spades} however eliminated Zoufri in 33rd place, just missing out on a pay jump and having to settle for €25,000.

The eight on the river triggered a big reaction by the talented commentary team of [Removed:139] and Jamie Kerstetter on the PokerGO live stream. Make sure to follow the final two days of the €10,300 Main Event through the stream.

Rastislav Paleta: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
