Zoufri Eliminated; PokerGO Stream is Live

Level 20 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
PokerGO Stream
PokerGO Stream

Romain Lewis raised from middle position with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} 800,000 and Abdelhakim Zoufri, who tangled with Lewis earlier, found {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} in the hijack. He put his last 3,950,000 in the middle and Lewis called after it folded back to him.

Lewis quickly called and Zoufri was in great shape to double back up.

The {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop was safe for Zoufri and so was the {5-Spades} turn. The {8-Spades} however eliminated Zoufri in 33rd place, just missing out on a pay jump and having to settle for €25,000.

The eight on the river triggered a big reaction by the talented commentary team of [Removed:139] and Jamie Kerstetter on the PokerGO live stream. Make sure to follow the final two days of the €10,300 Main Event through the stream.

Martin Wassner: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Sam Grafton: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The board ran out with the {j-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river and Grafton won a big pot by eliminating Wassner.

Lewis Cracks Kings

Level 20 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Romain Lewis put his last 4,500,000 in the middle from the small blind with {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and big blind Abdelhakim Zoufri woke up with {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Lewis hit a runner-runner straight after the perfect turn hit. Zoufri is short after the hand while Lewis has a little bit more room.

Lewis is one of the fifteen players that took the online road to Day 3 of the €10,300 Main Event at the 2019 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe.

Roberto Romanello
Roberto Romanello

Roberto Romanello set foot in the King's Resort for the first time this week as he qualified for Day 3 online after making his way through a 102-entry field to make it in the money with 15 left. He started with a little under the average stack of 7,000,000 but he had one of the best starts of anyone in the field.

Romanello his next victim was Jack Sinclair. Romanello had pocket kings while Sinclair had pocket queens. Romanello collected another scalp while he busted Sinclair.

Romanello his table will be the feature table after the break.

Big Hero Call for Carrel

Level 19 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Martin Wassner opened to 750,000 under the gun, Charlie Carrel three-bet to 2,100,000 from the button, and Wassner called.

Wassner checked the {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, and Carrel bet 1,500,000, which Wassner called. Both players then checked through the {8-Clubs} turn.

Wassner then went all in on the {7-Spades} river, having Carrel well covered, with 25,000,000 behind versus 5,500,000 for Carrel. The soul-reading process then began.

Carrel stared intently across the table at Wassner, asking if Wassner would show if he folded. ''Will you show? Please? Just one."

Carrel tossed in three time bank chips to account for the time he was taking to make the decision. Finally, he called.

Wassner showed {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for a missed flush draw, and Carrel tabled {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for fourth pair, which was the winner in this case.
