Triton 100K Super High Roller
Day 1 Started
The coverage of the 2019 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe is about to kick-off with the biggest event on the tournament schedule. The Triton series just ended in London and the next tournament with the Triton name will be the Triton 100K Super High Roller, held at the beautiful King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. The event has a buy-in of €100,000 and plenty of familiar faces are expected to show up in the Czech Republic to participate in this prestigious event.
The event will feature 45-minute levels and players will all start with 200,000 in chips with the first two levels being 500/1,000. Registration for the event will be open until the start of Day 2 on Tuesday, August 13. They will play ten levels on the first day with breaks after the third, sixth, and eighth level of the day.
The tournament has the reentry format and players that bust out will have the opportunity to buy back into the tournament for another €100,000. Reentries are possible, just like late registration, until the start of Day 2. Players will get a fresh 200,000 and the first level of Day 2 will be 5,000/10,000 which will give the players 20 big blinds.
The turnout is expected to be big, especially with a couple of big names confirmed already. Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Jason Koon, Cary Katz, and Kristen Bicknell all confirmed their attendance. Tony G was already in King's Resort so he will most likely make an appearance as well.
The shuffle up and deal was supposed to be announced at 5 p.m. local time but the tournament staff already announced they will start at 6 p.m. Play is expected to continue until about 2:15 a.m. There will not only be PokerNews coverage but PokerGO will provide a live stream as well.
