Gomez Sets the Trap for Kamali

Level 5 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Pierre-Paul Paulin opened to 22,000 from late position, Javier Gomez called in the hijack, Richard Kirsch called on the button and Hamidreza Kamali three-bet to 75,000 from the small blind.

Gomez and Kirsch stuck around to see the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop. Kamali bet 130,000, Gomez was the only caller and the dealer flipped over a {q-Spades} on the turn.

Kamali bet 170,000, Gomez called and the {3-Clubs} came down on the river. Kamali moved all in for 305,000 and Gomez snap-called. Kamali tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for a set of queens and would be behind when Gomez turned over {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the nut straight on the flop, sending Kamali out the door.
