Cormier Sits Down, Pulls in a Pot

Level 3 : 3,000/7,000, 7,000 ante

Pierre-Paul Paulin opened to 17,000 from under the gun, Jeff Cormier called on the button, Lauren Roberts called in the small blind and Aleksandr Merzhinskii defended his big blind.

The dealer fanned out {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs} on the flop and action checked to Cormier who bet 50,000. Merzhinskii was the only person to call and the {7-Spades} landed on the turn.

Both players checked and an {8-Clubs} fell as the river card. Merzhinskii bet 60,000 and Cormier quickly raised to 205,000. Merhinskii folded and Cormier took down the pot with his river raise.

The turned board read {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs} and there was around 375,000 in the pot. Daniel Rezaei bet 250,000 and Jamie Sequeira moved all in for 663,000.
