Dube's Kings Get Him in Trouble

Level 6 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Mark Dube and Daniel Elkeslassy were heads-up in a pot with the flop reading {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Elkeslassy check-called a bet from Dube on the flop and the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Elkeslassy decided to lead out this time and Dube just called. The river was the {5-Clubs} and Elkeslassy shoved all in. With around 900,000 already in the middle, Dube was put to the test for his remaining 720,000. He thought for a moment and then called it off.

Elkeslassy tabled {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a straight while Dube showed his {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} before exiting the tournament area.

De Silva Gets Queens to Fold

Level 6 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jonathan Jaffe raised to 27,000 from early position and was called by a player in middle position. Upeshka De Silva three-bet to 140,000 on the button and Derek Verrian four-bet to 340,000 in the small blind.

The action folded back to De Silva who thought for over a minute before five-bet shoving all in. Verrian had a little over 800,000 remaining but decided to hold on to his chips, putting his {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} in the muck. De Silva showed {a-Hearts} but that was all the info he would give.

Aces-Up for Will Givens

Level 6 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Will Givens
Will Givens

Elliot Smith raised to 27,000 from middle position and David Cowling called in the hijack. From the button, Will Givens three-bets to 120,000 before action returned to Smith.

Smith cuts out a four-bet totaling 300,000, and after Cowling folded, Givens called.

The flop landed {k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Smith led out for 165,000. Givens called, and then both players checked the {10-Clubs} on the turn.

The river is the {6-Spades}, and Smith checked. Givens bet out 655,000, and Smith goes deep into the tank before the clock is called.

With just five seconds remaining in his time, he called. Givens tabled his {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for aces-up, and Smith mucked.

Lee Has Baird Drawing Dead

Level 6 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action was on Jimmy Lee in the big blind with the board reading {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Lee led out for 200,000 into a pot of around 500,000. Hugh Baird was in the cutoff and tanked for a couple of minutes before pushing all in for 459,000. Lee quickly called and was delighted when the cards were tabled.

Lee showed {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a set of sevens and Baird was drawing dead with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. The {k-Spades} on the river was just a formality as Baird left his seat and his chips were pushed to Lee.

Hall Can't Shake Farrow

Level 6 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Michael Farrow raised it up from the hijack and Tom Hall three-bet to 92,000 in the small blind. Farrow called and the two players saw a flop of {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Hall led out for 85,000 and Farrow still called.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} and Hall made another bet of 190,000. Farrow wasn't going anywhere yet as he called to see the {8-Hearts} on the river. Hall opted to check this time and Farrow quickly knuckled the table as well. Hall tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} but Farrow showed {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to claim the pot.
