Mariz and Greenwood Double Up

Level 11 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Pablo Mariz and Dylan Ellis got all of their chips in the middle with Mariz being at risk for around 1,400,000. Mariz showed {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a set of nines while Ellis had {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a set of fours. The {7-Clubs} on the turn and the {j-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing as Mariz scored a double up.

In the next hand, it was Max Greenwood all in for 490,000 and Mariz was his opponent. Greenwood tabled {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and was flipping against the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} of Mariz. The board ran out {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Greenwood also found a double up.

Andrew Graham opened with a raise, and partypoker Online Qualifier Samuel Gagnon moved all in for his remaining stack. Graham called and the two turned over their hands with Gagnon at risk.

The two would be flipping as Graham tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Gagnon showed {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The flop came down queen-high and Gagnon needed help. A third club came down on the turn and he now picked up a flush draw.

The river was a brick and Graham took down the pot with his flopped queen, sending the partypoker online qualifier out early on Day 2.

Level 11 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Artem Metalidi opened to 65,000 in middle position and Mike McDonald three-bet to 200,000 on his left. The action folded back to Metalidi who called to go heads-up to a flop.

The flop came {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Metalidi check-called a bet of 150,000 from McDonald. The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} and Metalidi led out for 190,000 this time. With McDonald staring into his soul for over a minute, the Canadian announced all in.

"How does that feel to have him staring at you?" another player at the table asked.
