Level 29 : 350,000/700,000, 700,000 ante
Kevin Rabichow
Kevin Rabichow

Armin Rezaei opened to 1,500,000 from the hijack and Kevin Rabichow called in the small blind, as did Francois Billard from the big blind.

The flop landed {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades} and action checked through to reveal the {j-Diamonds} on the turn.

Rabichow bet out 3,000,000 and both Billard and Rezaei called.

The river fell the {6-Hearts} and Rabichow elected to bet 5,700,00. Billard slid his cards to the muck, but Rezaei called.

Rabichow tabled his {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Rezaei mucked.

Rabichow Four-Bets

Level 29 : 350,000/700,000, 700,000 ante

Danick Landriault opened to 1,400,000 from the button and Alexandros Kolonias three-bet the small blind to 5,000,000.

From the big blind, Kevin Rabichow used a time extension chip and then four-bet to 13,600,000.

Landriault quickly folded, and Kolonias folded also.

Erik Lemarquand Eliminated in 12th Place (CA$60,000)

Level 29 : 350,000/700,000, 700,000 ante
Erik Lemarquand
Erik Lemarquand

Erik Lemarquand raised to 7,075,000 from under the gun, leaving himself with around 3,800,000 behind. Upeshka De Silva re-raised all in on the button which got the blinds to fold and Lemarquand made a quick call.

De Silva: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Lemarquand: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

De Silva was in a dominating position and the flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} changed nothing. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Lemarquand was drawing to just three outs. The {k-Hearts} on the river gave both players a pair but De Silva's ace-kicker sent Lemarquand home in 12th place.

Rezaei Lays the Trap

Level 28 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

On a flop of {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, Armin Rezaei checked from the big blind and then called a bet from Danick Landriault on his left.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and Rezaei knuckled the table again. Landriault cut out a bet of 4,300,000 and Rezaei made the call.

The river brought the {5-Diamonds} and Rezaei checked one more time. Landriault shut down and checked it back. Rezaei turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a full house and took down the pot.

Ruben Perceval opened to 1,200,000 in the hijack and Jason James three-bet to 3,850,000 from the cutoff.

Action folded back to Perceval, and he called as the flop landed {6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and both players checked to reveal the {q-Clubs} on the turn.

Both players checked again as the {j-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Perceval checked, James bet 3,000,000, and Perceval folded.
