Stefanov Gets Through With Another Jam

Joni Jouhkimainen raised to 325,000 on the button and Angelos Michael three-bet to 1.1 million in the small blind. No call by the Finn followed and the pot was shipped to Michael.

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya raised the button and was called by Danut Chisu in the small blind. On the {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} turn, Chisu check-called for 475,000 and checked again the {4-Hearts} on the river. Skhulukhiya now bet 925,000 and Chisu folded.

One hand later, Milen Stefanov jammed his short stack from an early position and he got through with it. Boris Angelov as one of the other short stacks forfeited his big blind.

Danut Chisu raised from under the gun and Giorgiy Skhulukhiya defended the big blind. On a flop of {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Skhulukhiya checked and Chisu continued for 525,000 in order to pick up a call. The {6-Clubs} turn was checked and Skhulukhiya eyeballed the stack of his table neighbour on the {8-Diamonds} river. He then bet and Chisu folded, getting shown the {k-Spades} by Skhulukhiya.

Angelos Michael raised to 325,000 and was called by Danut Chisu from two seats over. The {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop brought a small bet and a call to see the {j-Clubs} turn go check, check. Michael bet the {8-Spades} river for the minimum and Chisu reluctantly called.

The Cypriot tabled {a-Spades}{9-Spades} and the kicker played as Chisu only had {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.
