Preparations for Day 2 Underway

There is a loud buzz by hundreds of poker players waiting just outside of the tournament area and 22 players made it through the Turbo Heat 1c. Among the chip leaders was Osman Ihlamur, who will be back with more than the average stack.

It appears that a field of 541 entries has emerged thus far and 288 players remain. However, several contenders are about to enter and wait for the opportunity to redeem chips for a seat assignment. All 32 players in the main tournament area are in use for the restart.

After the completion of four starting days, the 2021 MILLIONS North Cyprus $2,200 Warm-Up will enter the second stage as of 12.30 pm local time. All those that survived their respective flight will return to the convention centre of the five-star Merit Crystal Cove Hotel Casino & Spa in Girne, North Cyprus. The tournament initially came with a $500,000 guarantee but that amount has already been more than doubled with at least 511 entries across the first three starting days.

Day 2 will kick off with blinds of 1,200/2,500 and a big blind ante of 2,500, which gives all new entries 40 big blinds.

The late registration and re-entry period remains open for the first four levels and the level duration until the conclusion is 60 minutes each. Day 2 will play until the money bubble has been burst and the penultimate day then whittles down the field to the nine-handed final table. The event is slated to crown a champion on Monday, September 20, 2021.
