Chouity Calls Correctly on the River

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Karolis Sereika raised to 35,000 from under the gun and was called by Aleksandr Kinzhalov from one seat over and a short-stacked Nicolas Chouity in the big blind. They checked all the way to the {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} river on which Chouity bet 20,000. Sereika folded but Kinzhalev raised to 80,000.

Chouity sigh-called and was good with {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} versus {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

In the meanwhile, the big stack of Stefan Fabian was cut down as Georgios Tsouloftas has joined the big stacks.

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Clement Richez
Clement Richez

Clement Richez was spotted on his way out of the tournament area and the cards were already mucked.

Andreas Christoforou raked in the pot as his {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} remained ahead on a board of {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Spades}. According to Christoforou, he had {j-}{6-} and jammed blind on blind without getting there.

Oghabian Vanishes; Martirosian Rises Once More

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Milad Oghabian
Milad Oghabian

The hand details were revealed by Kacper Pyzara and Lachezar Petkov, as Milad Oghabian was no longer in the seat between them

In a four-bet pot to 240,000, Oghabian was called by Artur Martirosian and bet 100,000 on a ten-high flop. Oghabian then jammed the {j-Diamonds} turn with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for the gutshot and nut flush draw. Martirosian called with {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for two pair and the river bricked.

Martirosian recovered earlier losses when he doubled Eli Saad, kings didn't get there versus aces. The Russian then also jammed an ace-king high flop to force a fold from {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, Martirosian flipped over the {a-Clubs} with a grin on the face.
