Kolgu Eliminated by Hanna

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Mehmet Kolgu
Mehmet Kolgu

Jim Sue Pan and Matthieu Chan have been joined by Georges Hanna at the top of the leaderboard. It was the latter who got it in against Mehmet Kolgu on a flop of {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and both revealed top pair with a decent kicker.

Mehmet Kolgu: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Georges Hanna: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The kicker played on the {j-Clubs} turn and {7-Spades} river runout.

Saade Eliminated by Lakhov

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Gabriel Akiki doubled through Nikola Minkov and the same table then featured the preflop all-in contest between Alexander Lakhov and Elie Saade, who was at risk for 415,000.

Elie Saade: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Alexander Lakhov: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop gave Lakhov a double belly buster and while he missed the {2-Diamonds} turn, he got there on the {q-Spades} river.

Kurtulus Eliminated by Adrianopoulos

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Bora Kurtulus
Bora Kurtulus

On a rather small pot to the {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, the stacks of Bora Kurtulus and Sakis Adrianopoulos went into the middle for more than one million apiece.

Bora Kurtulus: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Sakis Adrianopoulos: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades} turn changed nothing whatsoever, nor did the {2-Hearts} river, and the stacks were counted. Kurtulus had 1,185,000 and that was covered by Adrianopoulos with 1,210,000.

Khorchidian Eliminated by Anton

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Nichan Khorchidian
Nichan Khorchidian

Nichan Khorchidian raised to 125,000 and then called a three-bet to 375,000 by Ionel Anton to see a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. That's when the remaining chips of Khorchidian went in and he was snap-called.

Nichan Khorchidian: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Ionel Anton: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The {10-Clubs} turn and {2-Spades} river brought no miracle escape as Khorchidian headed to the rail in 51st place.

Mojaverian and Al Gosaibi On the Rail

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Omid Mojaverian raised to 100,000 and then called the shove by Gregoire Auzoux from one seat over.

Omid Mojaverian: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Gregoire Auzoux: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board gave Auzoux a full house and he confirmed the given nickname of "professional all-in player," which had stuck around since Day 2.

Up next, a short-stacked Farouk Al Gosaibi got it in to get called by Nichan Khorchidian.

Farouk Al Gosaibi: {a-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Nichan Khorchidian: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} board have Khorchidian two pair.

Pyzara Doubles; Hadioglu Busts

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Kacper Pyzara got his short stack in with a flopped set of sevens on {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Mehmet Kolgu looked that up with {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a double gutshot. The {6-Diamonds} turn and {j-Clubs} river were blanks and Pyzara doubled.

One hand later, Pyzara raised and Koray Korkmaz three-bet. Nuri Hadioglu four-bet jammed and Korkmaz snap-called.

Nuri Hadioglu: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Koray Korkmaz: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Hadioglu was eliminated.

Neiberda Doubles Through Alakzam

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

"You got trapped. Welcome to the table," Kush Vinod Kataria remarked. Rokas Neiberka had just arrived and got his 365,000 in after the {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop for Fadi Alakzam to call.

Rokas Neiberka: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Fadi Alakzam: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The {2-Spades} turn took away some outs and the {9-Clubs} river secured the double of Neiberka.

Down to Six Tables

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jim Sue Pan boosted his stack when he three-bet against Furkan Beg and then snap-called the shove by Beg on a king-high flop with diamond draw. Pan held ace-king for the top pair while Beg's {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a wheel and nut flush draw bricked on turn and river.

Michel Habib then departed next and that reduced the field to the final 54 players.

Artur Martirosian recovered some losses in a three-bet pot in which Nuri Hadioglu made it 280,000 to go. The call by Martirosian followed and they checked the {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop. Martirosian bet the {4-Spades} turn for 190,000 and his opponent folded.
