Prezes Doubles Off Tomovic

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Poland's Prezes holding {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Aleksandar Tomovic holding {a-Spades}{k-Spades} got into a classic flip situation putting the former at risk for his tournament life.

Prezes breathed a huge sigh of relief when his hand help after the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and doubled his stack to 810,000. Meanwhile, Tomovic had an almost seven-digit stack after the hand with 900,000.

Kotleba Doubles Through Haneberg

Level 19 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Boris Kotleba
Boris Kotleba

Andre Haneberg raised to 52,000 from first position before Boris Kotleba announced all-in for his stack of 403,000 chips. Back on Haneberg, he made a small chip dance while thinking which lead Kotleba to believe he already had been called. Luckily he didn't turn over his hand right away, and though he protested to the dealer, that Haneberg's chips had been over the line, it was not ruled as a call just yet.

Haneberg did end up making the call in the end but was trailing with {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} against the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} of Kotleba. With a {4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop and the {5-Hearts} turn Haneberg could win with any heart or jack and chop with any trey or eight, but the {6-Diamonds} was a blank and Kotleba was awarded the double.

Advokat Continues the Upwards Trend

Level 19 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Advokat has been the talk of table #85 lately. He's winning big pots left and right and just took a big one off Josef Gulas to pass the one million mark.

Advokat raised to 55,000 from the button and Gulas came over the top for 150,000 from the big blind. Advokat called.
Gulas continued for another 150,000 on the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Advokat called before Gulas check-folded to a bet of 200,000 on the {2-Spades} turn.

The chip leader is still Andre Haneberg sporting a massive stack of around 1.8 million.

Advokat made it 50,000 to go preflop, and Josef Gulas on the button made the call. Ognjen Sekularac in the small blind announced all-in for around 300,000 and Advokat wasted no time moving in over the top prompting a fold from Gulas.

Sekularac: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Advokat: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades}{K-Spades}, and Advokat let out a sigh of relief before he raked in the pot.

Norbert Berent Eliminated in 15th Place

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Norbert Berent put his last 175,000 in the middle when the action folded to him in the cutoff, but Andre Haneberg woke up with {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} in the small blind and made the call. Berent's {7-Clubs}{8-Spades} needed some help, but didn't get it as the board ran out {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{A-Spades} and the Polish player hit the rail.

With that pot, Andre Haneberg surged to 1.7 million chips, more than enough to hold the chip lead currently.

Advokat Rivers Straight to Double

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

With 150,000 already in the middle German player Advokat moved all-in for 125,000 on a {5-Spades}{A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} board. Ognjen Sekularac was visibly perplexed and couldn't quite figure out what to make of the shove.

"You have played so conservatively. Would you really valuebet a king," he asked, but Advokat gave him nothing.

A few minutes later the clock was called on Sekularac, and ultimately the Serbian committed the chips. Advokat turned over {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and that was more than enough to win the pot.

15 players still remain, but another five will have to bite the dust before the bubble bursts.
