Day 1g Started
Welcome to Day 1g of the partypoker LIVE MILLION Germany €1,100 Main Event featuring a huge €1 million guaranteed prize pool at King's Casino Rozvadov. Unlike the other live opening flights, Day 1g is a turbo affair with 15-minute blinds. Another difference is that play will be six-max instead of full-ring. Similar to the other flights, players will start off with a big stack of 100,000 in chips.
Thus far 675 entrants entered the first six opening days with Day 1a, Day 1d, Day 1e and Day 1f taking place live at the casino and Day 1b and Day 1c taking place online at partypoker. Yesterday's Day 1f field attracted 384 players or more than the 291 from the first four opening days combined. Today's Day 1e field size is expected to eclipse this number.
Day 1g of the Main Event needs to attract another 325 entrants to meet the huge €1 million guaranteed prize pool before late registration closes before the start of Level 11.
Currently, Day 1a chip leader Jung Dirg from Germany is in the lead with 1,227,100 chips and is the only player thus far with a seven-digit stack.

There's a number of familiar faces in the crowd already, trying to seize this last chance of making it through to Day 2 this afternoon. Partypoker streamer Jonathan "Jonty" Willis is in attendance, so is runner-up from the €2,200 High Roller, Andre Haneberg and fifth place finisher Hoa Bui Chi.
Natalia Breviglieri hasn't yet shown up in the tournament area, neither has Ludovic Geilich, but they are both expected to take their seats within the next hour.

Partypoker Ambassador Natalia Breviglieri shared after her second bullet went awry yesterday that she would be back for another chance in today's final turbo opening. True to her word, she is in her seat with a fresh stack of 100,000 chips.
Also just walked to his seat was Ludovic Geilich who smiled and said to the media, "One last chance."
Germany's The Talk is also back in the field, although he said he would be doing less talking and laughing and trying to focus on building a big stack for Day 2. He also mentioned that he is only in today's field since he was trying to gamble it up during yesterday's Day 1f in hopes to accumulate a mountain of chips to bag.

This is a turbo heat, and most players seem more than ready to gamble it up a bit. Pavel Svach is not afraid to put his chips to work, and he just sent Georg Fink packing in the first elimination of the day.
In the hand leading up to the elimination, Svach limped under the gun, the player on the button raised to 2,000 and Georg Fink made the call out of the big blind. Svach reraised to 9,000, and both called.
Svach continued for 10,000 on the flop, and only Fink made the call, and the German check-called another 15,000 on the turn. The river saw Svach bet 20,000 and get called, and his was good for the massive pot.
The very next hand action folded around to Fink in the small blind, and he instantly moved all-in for his last 36,700. Svach didn't waste his breath and instead fumbled a stack of chips over the betting line to indicate a call.

Fink saw the writing on the wall even before the dealer had put out the flop. He packed his belongings and stood up, and though the flop was good for him, the on the turn left him drawing to two outs.
The river wasn't it, and Fink quickly headed towards the exit.

Just seated at the same table as partypoker Ambassador Natalia Breviglieri is Dusk Till Dawn regular Rehman Kassam.
Kassam waved to the media and said, "It's not looking good for me."
His chip stack was still at 100,000 in chips, so he wasn't talking about today's action. He then pointed to the big board to bring attention to a small prop bet he made yesterday that the tournament would meet the guarantee.
Today's last opening flight needs 325 entrants to meet its €1 million guaranteed prize pool with almost 100 in the field thus far. It is still possible this might happen as players are still filing in and on some tables, the action is fast and furious.
