There were 12 players who started the event today, and "HitChaser" was the only player who elected to use a rebuy right away, putting their starting stack at 60,000. On the first hand, they would collect a knockout, as he called an all in after the flop with a queen high flush draw. His opponent had merely jack high, and neither player would improve.

It is time to get things started with Event #3 of the party poker US Network Online Mini Series. This tournament is for those who prefer short handed play, as there will only be six players at each table. The buy-in today is just $10, and this prizepool has a guarantee of at least $1,500.

Today, the partypoker US Network Online Mini-Series kicks off in New Jersey on a trio of online poker sites: partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker.
The network’s online mini-series, which will run through Sunday, features buy-ins as low as $0.25 up to $20, making it the perfect series for players accustomed to the micro and lower stakes. What's more, PokerNews will be giving some love to the micro-stakes by offering live updates from several tournaments, including this one.
The $10 buy-in Event #3: $1,500 GTD 6-Max R&A will get underway at 12:30 PM local time. The tournament will start players with 30,000 in chips and play 10-minute levels. Late registration and re-entries will remain open through the end of Level 18.
The series will culminate on Sunday, May 24 with a $10 buy-in $2,500 GTD NLH Main Event Big Stack, while the other big tournament on the schedule is the $20 buy-in Event #1: $10,000 GTD Phased, which will hold starting flights daily before playing it out on Day 2 that same Sunday.
The series comes on the heel of the recently-completed partypoker US Network Online Series, which on Sunday night wrapped up its 21-event schedule. That series, which catered to 5,309 entrants and awarded $352,417 in prize money, saw “TheKing411” top a 270-entry field to win the $400 buy-in, $100K GTD Main Event for $21,233.
