"whatever" Doubles Before Break

"whatever"
"whatever"

In Level 25 with blinds of 14,000/28,000 and an ante of 3,500, a five-way limped pot brought about a flop of {j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}, with action checking around to "whatever," who was on the button. There was 157,500 in the middle and "whatever" made a pot-sized bet, prompting three folds to put action onto "Barrettwins," who was the last line of defense in the cutoff.

"Barrettwins" check-jammed for 461,000 effectively and "whatever" called all in.

"whatever": {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
"Barrettwins": {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

"whatever" needed to fade the remaining spades and aces in the deck to stay alive, and the turn {k-Diamonds} added two tens to the tally. It all proved to be for show, however, as the river {3-Diamonds} fell safely to give "whatever" the double.

Five players still remain as the tournament has reached a five-minute break. Here's an updated look at the chip counts.

"Anonymous5413" Eliminated in 6th Place ($132 + $29 in Bounties)

"Anonymous5413"
"Anonymous5413"

In Level 24 with blinds of 12,000/24,000 and an ante of 3,000, "whatever" raised to 48,000 under the gun and received calls from both "Barrettwins" in the small blind and "Anonymous5413," who defended their big blind.

The flop came {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and "Barrettwins" checked. "Anonymous5413" bet 72,000 and "whatever" folded. "Barrettwins" then called, bringing the turn {5-Hearts}.

"Barrettwins" check-called another bet of 96,000 from "Anonymous5413" and the river came {3-Diamonds}, where "Barrettwins" checked once more.

"Anonymous5413" fired out a bet of 249,000, leaving just 5,859 behind. "Barrettwins" clicked the raise button and "Anonymous5413" folded.

A hand later, "Anonymous5413" doubled and found themselves with 25,000, but fell to "Barrettwins" on the hand following that, resulting in their sixth-place finish for $132 with another $29 in accompanying bounty money.

"POKERDORMS" Eliminated in 7th Place ($110 + $46 in Bounties)

"POKERDORMS"
"POKERDORMS"

In Level 23 with blinds of 10,000/20,000 and an ante of 2,500, "RGAx732x" limped under the gun and "Barrettwins" raised to 50,000 in middle position. "whatever" called in the cutoff and then "POKERDORMS" three-bet jammed for 358,000 in the big blind. Only "Barrettwins" called.

"POKERDORMS": {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
"BarrettWins": {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

"POKERDORMS" was unable to find an ace on the runout {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and was eliminated from the tournament in seventh place, earning $110 for their finish plus another $46 in bounties.

"Big_Daddy" Eliminated in 8th Place ($90 + $2 in Bounties)

"Big_Daddy"
"Big_Daddy"

In Level 23 with blinds of 10,000/20,000 and an ante of 2,500, "RGAx732x" opened to 60,000 in middle position and "Big_Daddy" three-bet jammed for 293,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back to "RGAx732x" and they called.

"Big_Daddy": {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
"RGAx732x": {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

"RGAx732x" was able to hold against the two overcards, fading a backdoor flush draw to go with it as the board ran out {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to result in "Big_Daddy" being eliminated from the tournament in eighth place.

"fnasty97" Eliminated in 9th Place ($69 + $4 in Bounties)

"fnasty97"
"fnasty97"

In Level 22 with blinds of 8,000/16,000 and an ante of 2,000, all of the chips got in the middle on the turn with a board of {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}, as "fnasty97" was under the gun and check-shoved over a bet from "RGAx732x," who was on the button and called to bring about a pot of nearly 750,000.

"fnasty97": {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
"RGAx732x": {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}

"fnasty97" found themselves with more than a dozen combined outs, but none came as the river {k-Clubs} instead gave "RGAx732x" trips and earned them the knockout, eliminating "fnasty97" in ninth place for$69 plus $4 in bounties.

"kodikeasler1" Eliminated by "Anonymous5413" To Bring About the Final Table

"kodikeasler1"
"kodikeasler1"

In Level 21 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and an ante of 1,750, there was 50,750 in the middle with three-way action between "high-card" in the small blind, "kodikeasler1" in the big blind, and "Anonymous5413" in the cutoff.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and "high-card" had made a pot-sized bet. "kodikeasler1" raised to 126,000 and "Anonymous5413" three-bet to 285,000. "high-card" quickly folded and "kodikeasler1" called all in for less.

"kodikeasler1": {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
"Anonymous5413": {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

"kodikeasler1" had flopped trips out of the big blind but ran into a higher kicker. They found no help on the turn {q-Diamonds}, and the river {3-Spades} was of no avail either, resulting in their elimination from the tournament in 10th place.

"Big_Daddy" Doubles Through "Barrettwins"

In Level 21 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and an ante of 1,750, there was 71,000 in the middle on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} with heads-up action between "Barrettwins" in the big blind and "Big_Daddy," who was under the gun.

"Barrettwins" checked-raised all in over a bet of 35,000, effectively putting "Big_Daddy" to a decision for their stack of 142,000. A call was made.

"Big_Daddy": {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
"Barrettwins": {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

"Big_Daddy" was ahead with top pair, top kicker, and remained there as the turn {7-Spades} and river {4-Spades} completed the runout to score them the double. Moments later, "Barrettwins" lost another small pot to "RGAx732x" to bring stacks to their current values.

Chip Counts on the Final Table Bubble

Play is midway through Level 21 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and an ante of 1,750. Here's a look at updated counts from the 10 who remain.

"Meinhard1988" Finds the Rail, "Musclewhale89" Follows: Hand-for-Hand Begins

"Meinhard1988"
"Meinhard1988"

In Level 20 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and an ante of 1,500, "Barrettwins" saw action fold around to the cutoff and raised to 24,000. "Meinhard1988" three-bet shoved for 68,000 on the button and "Barrettwins" made the call once it became their turn to do so.

"Barrettwins": {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
"Meinhard1988": {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

"Barrettwins" was out in front and remained there as the flop dropped {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, giving them top pair. The turn {10-Clubs} gave "Meinhard1988" four outs at a backdoor gutshot to Broadway, but they missed the jack they needed to completed the draw as the river came {8-Hearts} to result in their elimination from the tournament in 12th place.

Moments later, "Musclewhale89's" night came to an end in 11th place, and 10 players now remain. Hand-for-hand play is in effect across the two remaining tables until one elimination occurs, at which time the remaining nine players will have made the final table.
