"MDpoker" Saved By the Turn

"MDpoker"
"MDpoker"

In Level 8 with blinds of 800/1,600 and an ante of 200, "MDPoker" raised to 17,600 in middle position and "theGrat3fulDead" reraised all in from the small blind. "MDpoker" had a few big blinds left and called, sending the two off to the races.

"MDpoker": {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
"theGrat3fulDeaD": {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

"MDpoker" was in a coin-flip situation for their tournament life and saw an unfavorable flop of {8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Their dismay didn't last for long, however, as the turn {9-Diamonds} quickly followed to give them a set of nines and leave "theGrat3fulDeaD" drawing dead to the river {5-Clubs}, which completed the double to give them a stack of nearly 50,000.

"Ronaldk" Roasted

In Level 7 with blinds of 600/1,200 and an ante of 150, "Ronaldk" was all in in the big blind for 3,530 and received calls from both "Saltynutz" in the cutoff and "JFoote1283," who was on the button.

"DirtyJerzey" than put in a reraise to 17,650, getting quick folds from "Saltynutz" and "Jfoote1283" to bring about a heads-up runout.

"Ronaldk": {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
"DirtyJerzey": {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

"Ronaldk" was in trouble and at risk for their tournament life as the flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, further reducing their number of outs by one. The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to give both players a flush, leaving "DirtyJerzey" with the best hand. They scored the knockout with their second-nut flush and now find themselves with more than two-and-a-half starting stacks.

"feller1485" Back Over Starting Stack With Accompanying Bounty

"feller1485"
"feller1485"

In Level 6 with blinds of 500/100 and an ante of 125, "feller1485" found themselves below starting stack as action folded around to the player directly to the right of them, "Barrettwins," who was in middle position.

"feller1485" raised to 4,500 in the hijack and action folded back to "Barrettwins," who called. The flop came {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and "Barrettwins" jammed for 5,400. "feller1485" quickly called.

"Barrettwins": {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
"feller1485": {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

"feller1485" was still ahead with their pair of fours as the turn came {5-Hearts} to give "Barrettwins" an open-ended straight draw. However, the river {a-Diamonds} was safe and they eliminated "Barrettwins" from the tournament, earning their bounty as the pot was shipped their way to bring their stack back over 30,000 to go along with it.

"KOB_ECG" Holds for the Dub

"KOB_ECG"
"KOB_ECG"

In Level 5 with blinds of 400/800 and an ante of 100, "johnpaggi" raised to 3,200 on the button and "phillychzsteak1" three-bet jammed for 94,000.

"KOB_ECG" was in the big blind and called all in for 28,500. "johnpaggi" went into the tank for moment, and eventually folded to let the other two have at it.

"KOB_ECG": {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
"phillychzsteak1": {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

"KOB_ECG" looked poised for the double but the flop {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} left them needing to fade a flush draw. They were able to do so as the turn {2-Spades} and river {2-Hearts} completed the runout, leaving their ace kicker best to go along with the board's two pair to earn them an early double.

"Anonymous5413" Doubles Through "Bullsey8"

"Anonymous5413"
"Anonymous5413"

In Level 4 with blinds of 300/600 and an ante of 75, "Bullsey8" saw one limp in front of them in the cutoff and raised to 2,400. "Anonymous5413" called in the small blind and "POKERDORMS" also called in the big blind. The limper folded, taking action three ways to a flop of {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Action checked to "Bullsey8," who made a continuation-bet of 4,200. "Anonymous5413" check-raised to 9,200 and "POKERDORMS" folded. "Bullsey8" then three-bet jammed and "Anonymous5413" called all in for 27,100.

"Anonymous5413": {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
"Bullsey8": {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

"Anonymous5413" had flopped two pair and was out in front against the top pair, top kicker of "Bullsey8," who picked up seven extra outs on the turn {j-Diamonds}. However, "Anonymous5413" held as the river {4-Spades} completed the runout, leaving their two pair best to earn the the double.

David "TheKing411" Coleman Talks About Big partypoker US Network WPT Online Poker Open Win

At the beginning of July, the partypoker US Network in New Jersey reached a sizzling conclusion when the WPT Online Poker Open, which combined fields from partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker crowned a winner. The Main Event drew a field of 868 entries, generating a lofty $317,540 prize pool which surpassed its $300k guarantee. It marked the largest ever event for the New Jersey online poker network surpassing the $302,100 prize pool for the $320 buy-in partypoker US Network $250K GTD back on March 29.

In the end, it was David "TheKing411" Coleman who emerged victorious for a payday of $56,586. In addition to the first-place prize, he also earned a WPT Championship Trophy and an $11,000 prize package which includes entry into the next WPT in-person live event, the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, which will take place at Bellagio in Las Vegas ($10,400 buy-in), as well as $600 in cash towards travel expenses.

David Coleman spoke to PokerNews about the win.

"goods21" Flops Bottom Two

"goods21"
"goods21"

In Level 2 with blinds of 200/400 and an ante of 50, "pokeYou1" opened to 1,200 under the gun and received three calls, one of which was from "goods21" on the button. The flop fell {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and three checks put action onto "goods21," who bet 2,770. Only "pokeYou1" called.

Action was then heads up as the turn came {k-Clubs}, where both players checked. The river was {a-Diamonds} and both players checked once more to take the hand to showdown.

"pokeYou1" showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes, and "goods21" tabled {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a flopped bottom two pair, good to earn them the pot.
