The Latest partypoker US Network Online Series Starts Shortly

partypoker US

It's almost time to get things going here in the latest US Network Online Series hosted by partypoker!

The series is open to players in New Jersey and will run on the trio of online poker sites that comprised the partypoker US Network – partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker.

Over the next week, over $150,000 will be up for grabs through nightly tournaments, starting off today with a $12,000 Guaranteed Progressive Knockout Bounty Event. In this, half of the buy-in will be going to the overall prize pool, while the other half will go towards the bounty prize pool.

Each $100 bounty will see $50 go directly to the player who scored the knockout, while the other $50 will be added to that player's bounty. That means that the more bounties you collect, the more money you earn, but it also means a bigger target on your own head!

Buzgon Collects Two More Bounties

Blinds: 1,000-2,000

It is, quite simply, the Daniel “leinad” Buzgon show at the moment in this event. He has just collected two more bounties to put his total at a staggering 10. No one else in the event has more than four at the moment. Here is how the latest hand played out.

Buzgon started the action by raising to 6,000. Chris “rumpthumper” White moved all in for 29,000, and a few seats over, "rounder1420" also moved all in. Buzgon thought for just a few moments before calling.

Chris “rumpthumper” White: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
rounder1420: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Daniel “leinad” Buzgon: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The flop of {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Diamonds} didn't hit any players, but the {10-Diamonds} on the turn gave Buzgon a world of outs. He would hit on with the {4-Diamonds} river, and just like that, Buzgon's stack swelled up to nearly 300,000.

Ryan “TheSims” Hohner Doubles Through Gagliano

Michael "Gags30" Gagliano has already collected three bounties today, and chopped a fourth with another player, but he just missed out on getting his fifth prize.

Following a standard raise at the 1,400-2,800 level, Ryan “TheSims” Hohner shoved all in for 22,000 on the button with pocket jacks. Gagliano called with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, and he was never able to get close to the big pair of Hohner.

He collects a small double up, while Gagliano is still in great shape with over 200,000 chips.

"NoRecourse" Knocks Out "Allyoucaneat"

Following a raise from "NoRecourse" at the 2,000/4,000 level, "Allyoucaneat" moved all in for his final 55,000 and change. "NoRecourse" called with {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and he was flipping against the pocket tens of "Allyoucaneat".

A jack would come right on the {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop, and "NoRecourse" would never look back as the {3-Hearts} turn and {3-Clubs} river peeled off. That allowed "NoRecourse" to scoop the latest bounty and a big pot too.

Ryan “Whosyourdoddy” Dodd is the Bubble Boy

Blinds: 3,000/6,000

Following an under the gun raise from Ryan “TheSims” Hohner, Ryan “Whosyourdoddy” Dodd moved all in for his final 130,000. Hohner thought for a while before calling with {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, and he was flipping against the pocket sevens of Dodd.

Hohner would flop a broadway straight, and thought Dodd got some brief hope when the board paired on the turn, he wasn't able to hit a miracle full house. This means the final eight players have all made the money now.

Michael “UFOLDIWIN” St. John Eliminated in 8th Place ($237.60 + $262.50 in Bounties)

Blinds: 3,500/7,000

Michael “UFOLDIWIN” St. John and "NoRecourse" were heads up on a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} when St. John checked to "NoRecourse". He fired 35,000, only to see St. John check raise all in for his final 180,000 and change.

"NoRecourse" called with {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and was looking to fade the outs of the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of St. John. He would do just that, and "NoRecourse" scored the first knockout in the money.

"Jonuzi" Eliminated in 6th Place ($405.90 + $150 in Bounties)

Blinds: 4,000/8,000

It was a battle of the blinds between "Jonuzi" and Daniel “leinad” Buzgon when the two got in a raising war that saw all of the former's chips get into the middle.

"Jonuzi": {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Daniel “leinad” Buzgon: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The tens would hold for Buzgon, who had just scooped a big pot before that, is back up to one of the chip leaders with over 450,000.

Daniel “leinad” Buzgon Eliminated in 5th Place ($501.60 + $675 in Bounties)

Blinds: 5,000/10,000

Jake “FerociousPanda” Toole is continuing his rise, as he just took the last of Daniel “leinad” Buzgon's chips. In this hand, Buzgon would get his final chips in holding pocket sixes, but right behind him, Toole woke up with a pair of kings.

No two outer came, and Toole scooped another big pot to add to his chip lead.

Ryan “TheSims” Hohner Eliminated in 4th Place ($666.60 + $478.12 in Bounties)

Blinds: 6,000/12,000

Action started with Ryan “TheSims” Hohner shoving all in from under the gun. In the big blind, "l23weeeeeeeee" made the call with {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and he was slightly behind the {a-Spades}{4-Hearts} of Hohner.

However, that would quickly change after "l23weeeeeeeee" flopped trip tens. Hohner was drawing dead by the turn, and "l23weeeeeeeee" claimed their first bounty of the entire tournament.
